I walked out of the game room into the kitchen

Jake came behind me I thought we were going out he said

Oh I said right let me get some water first

I grabbed a bottle of water and we headed out the door.

We arrived at the cafe by my agency

We sat down and ordered then we talked

So I said

It feels great outside today I said

Then it started to rain

Maybe I spoke to soon I said smiling

Do you want to eat inside he asked

No we have this umbrella and I love the sound of rain I said

The waiter brought out our food then we ate and talked some more

Are you excited about your 19 the birthday he asked

Oh yeah I said I forgot

How do you forget your birthday he asked

When you don't want it to come I said

I just don't I said

No he said I want to know why he said

Come on Jake I said we fight everyday please drop it

But you always start it he said

No I don't you do because of all the questions you ask I said

You ask more questions than I do he said

I groaned fine I said let's make it a bet

What he asked

I bet that I could go longer with out asking you a question then you could go I said

He looked at me fine he said your on

Starting now he said getting up

He went to his car I followed him

No he said you have to ask

I groaned fine I said I'll take a cab I slammed the car door shut

He smiled this is so easy I heard him threw his thoughts

Shut up I said

He drove off

Wait I thought that was my car I groaned

I halted a taxi and decided to go to the movies

When I arrived at the movies I bought my ticket and went to the concession stand and got some popcorn and a slushy with a box of milk duds my favorite

I sat down in the theater and tried to find my phone so I could turn it off but then I found something that made me smile

My hotel card the only way to get to the presidential suite where we were staying was to slid the card in the slit in the elevator

I finally found my phone and turned it off an sat back with my candy and popcorn and watched the movie

Sucker I thought smiling

Jake's POV

I drove to the hotel thinking wow she didn't realize that this was he car she could have taken it she had the other set of car keys that matched these

I arrived at the hotel and went in the elevator I looked in my pockets for the card but I couldn't find it

Wait she had it great I thought I sat in the lobby and waited for her

*1 hour later *

I looked at my watch its been an hour where was she I thought

I went to the front desk

Yes can I help you said the lady at the front desk

Yes. I am staying in the presidential suite with my girlfriend and she has the key could you I've me the copy I asked

I am very sorry sir but your name is not in the book with the check in she said

I groaned and walked back to the seat in the lobby and saw her come back

I looked at her

Hey she said smiling I went to the movies and the arcade place Bob has said he needed some help taking care of the children there they are very sweet she said

I see you are still here she said

Yeah I need the card I said

Oh she said pulling out the card

Yeah that I said

Oh OK she said getting in the elevator

I walked by her

Um no she said pushing me out

Um that's my room too I said

I paid for it she said

Come on I said

Fine she said

I got in and she slid the card and we arrived on the 13th floor we opened the door and she went to take a shower while I laid in bed

She came to bed and I put my arms around her waist

If you want me she said you have to ask

I groaned letting go

She smiled and fell asleep

This is not over I said
