Months have passed and the day of the dark lord returning was getting closer. Narcissa looked at Lucius and did nothing but shake her head. "Your such a bloody coward! Severus told you to tell her months ago and you still haven't." Lucius sighed "Its not that I didn't want to tell her its just...." Narcissa cut him off "Its that you were afraid of her reaction. Lucius, we have raised that girl as if she was our own for 16 years, the least you can do is tell her the truth. The truth about what really happened that night and who she really is." Lucius looked at her with frustration because he knew that she was right.
"Fine, I'll tell her. I'll do it tonight after dinner," he said with a heavy sigh. "See that you do. You don't want to make him more mad than he already is, Lucius," said Narcissa, then she walked briskly out of the room. After she left, he started to pace around the room. "How do I tell her?" he asked himself out loud. "Tell who what?" asked Deliah as she walked into Lucius's study. He looked up at her "Uhm, nothing." "Ok then," she said as she walked over to the bookshelf and grabbed a book from it, she started to walk out. "Deliah wait! I need to talk to you about something," he said as he sat down in his chair. "Can it wait? I wanted to practice brewing a potion," she asked. "No it can't, please sit," he replyed. Deliah sat in the chair and looked at him.
Lucius could feel his heart beating fast for this was a conversation that he knew that he would have to have with Deliah one day. But he never knew that this day would come this quickly. He did a heavy sigh then began. "Do you remeber anything from that night you were brought here?" She shrugged "I remember some of it but most of it is a blur. I mean I was two years, that was 14 years ago." "I understand that but can you tell me what you remember?" he asked her. "Ok. All I remember is father taking me from someone where and bringing me here," she said. "You don't remember where he took you from?" he asked. "No I don't. Lucius, why are you asking me these questions?"
"Because, its time you knew the truth; The truth about you. Deliah, the dark lord took you from the Potter House that night," he said. "The Potter House? Why would I be there?" she questioned him. "You were there cause thats your family. Your real parents were James and Lily Potter. That makes Harry Potter your brother," he said. Lucius stomach was all twisted in knots, cause her reaction to this could change so many things. Her eyes were widen and she was lost for words. When Deliah finally opened her mouth all she could say was "Your lying." "Deliah, do I look like I'm lying?" his face was stern and serious. Her mouth quivered like she was going to say something, but all she did was shake her head and run out of the room.
Lucius heard the front door slam shut. "That went well," he said with sarcasm as he poured himself a glass of brandy. Narcissa walked into the study and looked at her husband. "Shall I tell Severus the news?" she asked. He nodded, took a sip of his drink and said "Yes, tell him that the damage is done. Now the rest is up to her."
