Cheaters: People who hurt people, because they have been hurt once before.

One-Year-Later/And-Several-Break-Ups-Later.
"-you light up my world like no body else. The way that you-"
I grimace, and turn down the car stereo.
"Jayden! This is my favorite song!" Kayla smacks my hand away from the radio, turns it up even louder than before, and then squeals. "I love One Direction!"
"Well, I don't, and this is my car." I tell her, annoyance lacing my words, and I tear my gaze once more away from the road so I can turn down the volume.
She crosses her arms over her chest, and glares at me from the passengers side of the car. "Sometimes I don't see how we're related."
Truthfully, I don't either. Kayla and I are only two years apart, and the total opposite. We don't even look alike! Sometimes it gets awkward, because when we're in public places with each other, we'll get asked if we're boyfriend and girlfriend.
"Do you want me to drive you to School tomorrow, or do you feel like walking five miles?"
Kayla sighs a long sigh through her nose. "Fine, whatever. I'll leave the sound alone."
I let out a soft chuckle as I pull into the School parking lot. "That's what I thought."
I spot my buddy, Jerry, right away as I pull into a parking spot. He's standing in front of the School chatting away with Nica Harris. Or should I say, he's flirting with the head of the cheer leading squad.
That's Jerry for you. And that's why he's one of my best friends.
Kayla opens her door, but I lean over my seat and grab her shoulder before she leaves. "Hold up for a second."
"What." She groans,
I lower my voice. "I don't want you talking to Cain, you hear me?"
Cain is one of the major jerks in our School. I'm not going to say he's worse than me, but he's dangerously close, and Kayla has started to fall in his trap. I've been hearing him talk about her.
That's one thing that's not going to happen.
A blush grows on her cheeks, and I almost groan. She's starting to like him. "I don't know what you're talking about."
I know she's lying, because her eyes are glancing anywhere but me. "Yes you do, Kayla, and I'm not going to have you going out with him."
She narrows her eyes at me, and pulls away from my grasp. "Just because you're my brother, doesn't give you the right to tell me what to do." She stands up out of the car, and bends over so I can see her face. "I can talk to whoever, and whomever I want to." She straitens up, and stalks off towards the School, flipping her hair over her shoulder.
"Kayla!" I jump out of the car, and call her, but she acts like she doesn't hear me, and walks over to a few of her friends. "Such a brat." I growl, and punch the hood of the car lightly with the bottom of my hand.
"Problems?" I turn my head, and see Jerry walking towards me with a smirk on his face, and his hands in his pockets.
I rub my forehead, and groan. "Yes, but nothing I can't handle myself." When his eyebrows raise, I continue. "Cain's been talkin' to Kayla."

My Life As A Cheater.
Teen Fiction"I hate cheaters." She tells me. "That's the thing that ticks me off the most." My heart plummets. "Well, that's too bad, because that's what I am." Brenna looks at me with disgust. "And that's why I won't go out with you." * *...
