(Krissy's POV)

It had been a couple weeks since we had found out Jack was cheating on me and we were in full on wedding planning mode. And we were on a tight schedule seeing as the wedding was next month.

"Izzy, what food do you want for the buffet?" I asked.

"Nando's!" She screamed over the loud noises around us. We were at her flat and trust me, I would do anything not to be there. We had all sorts of fitting people, cake samplers and beauticians here to get everything done at once. Not our best idea.

"Kay, thanks!"

I pulled out my phone and called the restaurant to organize the catering.

"Band or DJ?"

"DJ!"

"Okay!"

I called my friend Matt to see if we could get his cousin to come DJ at the wedding. He said he would call and check.

"Did you get one?" Izzy asked.

"Maybe. Matt is going to call me back when he finds out," I replied.

"Great! Um, ladies? This dress is a little to... Tight!"

Right now my friend was being fitted for her dress. This little company had everything custom made. It was really neat, but very time consuming. And time was not something we had time for.

"Isabella, I'm taking my break. I'll be back in a few!" I called.

"Have fun!"

I grabbed my purse and headed down the stairs to my car. I was about to start the ignition when I saw that I had gotten a text. It was from Jack. Great, that was the last thing I needed.

-Come meet me at Monmouth. We need to talk.

-I don't want to talk to you right now. Maybe after the wedding.

-It's important.

I might as well get this over with. I started the car and drove of to meet Jack. This better not be as horrible as I think it will be.

"Glad you could make it!" Jack smiled.

I scowled at him. How could he be smiling after what he did to me. I cried myself to sleep the night I found out. The past week I had to pretend I was okay for Izzy's sake. Then I was going to have to keep pretending until the wedding was over.

"Whatever. What do you need? I'm on a tight schedule," I snapped.

"I need to explain. What you saw, it wasn't like that!"

"You weren't with that girl all day on the longest date ever? Are you saying you don't have a thing for her? That you aren't a couple? Because according to Finn you guys are pretty lovey-dovey."

"Okay so maybe it is what you saw..." He mused.

I rolled my eyes. "I don't have time for this." I stalked off so I could go by myself a coffee, but the cheater grabbed my arm and pulled me back. He kissed me hard on the lips and held my arms so I couldn't push away.

I wiggled and squirmed until he finally let go. "What the heck was that?" I demanded.

"Aw come on! Tell me you didn't enjoy that just a little."

That was easy. "I didn't."

Jack's face fell. The little twinkle in his eyes died and his shoulders drooped. I had just ruined his plan of getting me back. And to be honest, I was glad. After seeing him with that girl all my feelings for him died.

"Now if you'll excuse me, I would like to go get some coffee," I said, pushing past him.

I walked up to the counter and ordered a Cinnamon Dolce Latte.

"Hey cutie, you with him?" The guy at the register asked.

I looked back at Jack and shook my head. "Nope."

"Awesome," the guy said, handing me my drink, "Maybe we could hang out sometime."

I looked the guy up and down. He had dirty blond hair that was piled messily on his square head. He was pasty and slightly over weight and had tattoos all over his arms. Not really my type.

I just gave him a smile and walked out, leaving a shell shocked Jack Harries behind me.

There were plenty of awesome guys out there. I didn't need some dumb cheater to keep me company. In fact, I was looking forward to being single.

This was a whole new me.
