The One?

Chapter 1.

Lizzies POV
Today was the first day back at school. I started Year 12, which is the first year of Sixth Form (A/N If you are confused, this is the British education system Im on about. School is cumpulsory until Year 11). I loved it! I only had to take a few subjects, no more boring RS, Maths or whatever other rubbish I didnt care about. I have a different uniform to the rest of the school now, and the rules are more relaxed. You can wear whatever you want as long as the top is white, the bottoms, jumper and shoes are black, and you wear the Sixth Form tie. I wore a white shirt with a cute black pinafore. I hadnt worn a pinafore to school since Year 6 even though I am a literal child inside and wear tutus and pinafores on the weekends. Anyway I am studying ICT and Computer Science for the next 2 years so that should be exciting! Its great because I only need one folder and a few things like a pen and pencil on occasion, so I can easily keep them in my pocket and not have to worry about a huge backpack. I decided to put my folder and workbooks in my locker at lunch so I located it and went over. While i was at my locker I saw a boy at his, which was right next to mine. He wore the main school tie which mean he was younger than me. He looked exceesingly smart compared to the the other boys. His shirt was tucked in and his tie was tightened and perfect. He was so cute, the only thing keeping his dark brown hair out of his face was a pair of glasses while he clutched his books. It looked like he was stuggling so I went over. I helped him with his books then sat with him for lunch. All of my friends from Year 11 decided to go to college instead of going to Sixth Form so I was quite lonely anyway. It turned out he was too. His name is Joel and he said he didnt really want to get involved with football games on the muddy field with a load of boisterous teenagers who could probably snap your head of with just a glare. Hes really funny and I wish we were in the same year, not a year apart. Turns out he is taking ICT and Computer Science too, and will be continuing it when he gets to my year. I can see us being great friends in the future.
