Chapter 5.

A/N oops its been like a month
Joels POV:
I woke up this morning and got ready for school in minutes. For some reason I was excited to go to school today, I don't know why. Maybe it was the prospect of new lessons and teachers, today was only the second day after all. Anyway I got dressed and left for school. As I walked into school I felt myself trip and bang into something. I looked up to discover students all around me. They asked me if I was okay, before helping me to the medical room.
Good going Joel, medical room on the second day. To be honest I think I should have been focusing on where I was going instead of thinking up CS:GO strategies.
The nurse told me to lie on my back and she placed an ice pack on my head. She looked at my head and apparently it was bad because she sort of winced and told me to stay there until 3rd lesson. Great. Also this meant I missed seeing Lizzie at break. Double great.
When the nurse let me escape almost 3 hours later (despite me telling her I just tripped over and I was okay over and over again) I walked to my english class and sat down like nothing had happened. Obviously loads of people came over to me, but I managed to convince them I had a doctors appointment and that got them off my back for a lesson.
After English, I walked over to my locker to see Lizzie walking over to hers too, but with another boy. Not going to lie I was quite upset, and I dont know why. Lizzie is JUST a friend.
I walked to my locker as she got to hers, waving goodbye to the other boy. Just like yesterday I tripped over the broken slab, but today I managed to save myself. Thankfully.
Me and Lizzie sat together for lunch, and we exchanged numbers. I asked her what she liked to do in her spare time and you'll never guess what she said. She said Video Games! As in actual XBOX video games! I neber expected it from a girl like her, but she asked if I wanted to skype and play some COD tomorrow.
I got home and nothing exciting happened. More Halo, more food. Thats about it. Goodnight. :)
