The One?

Chapter 7.

Lizzies POV:
I woke up at 6am to the sound of my phone ringing. I looked over at my bedside table to see it shaking with my phone, which was violently vibrating. The screen lit up, illuminating the dark room I like to call my bedroom. It was from Joel.
I picked up and he started talking really fast, asking me to play Halo with him on the Xbox. I muttered some sort of reply, I was so tired I dont even remember what I said.
From what I do remember I told him to call back in an hour because I was currently not awake enough to beat him. I'm nice, I swear...

When I properly woke up at around 8 I rushed downstairs, had a quick bowl of cereal (which consequently I spilt down myself) and jumped on my xbox. I didn't even know I could eat that fast! Joel called me on Skype and we talked just like a few days ago, when we first met. I sat in my milk soaked pajamas and we just rambled on and on to each other, I felt like I had know him years. I honestly feel a really good connection with Joel, even if I haven't known him long.

I only played for 15 minutes before getting a call from my Oli. I glanced over at my phone ringing on the other side of the sofa, realizing what I mess I had made of it. Good thing Maddie and Dad weren't up yet. I apologized to Joel before muting myself from our Skype call and diving across the sofa to get to my phone before it rang out. I landed on a massive bowl of popcorn I had left out from yesterday, making an even bigger mess. I don't think anyone cares to be honest.
O: Hello? Lizzie!
L: Sorry Oli, what do you need?
O: Just wondering if you want to play some Call of Duty? The new game came out yesterday you know.
L: I know, I already bought it.
O: So wanna play?
L: Oh uh...
We both sat in silence. I saw Oli staring at Joel yesterday, giving him a really dirty look. Maybe it was someone else? Hopefully.
O: Well?...
L: I'm playing Halo with another friend at the moment, you can join us if you want.
I directed my eyes to my iPad, where I could see Joel taking a drink through Skype. I smiled, Joel is very cute and at that particular moment he was just acting like a ray of sunshine, even if he was just drinking water.
L: I'm playing with Joel, Oli. Wanna play?
I seemed to announce my words, I don't know why.
Oli seemed unsure. I honestly don't know why. If he doesnt like Joel for some reason he could just tell me?
Oli confuses me sometimes.

A/N: First of all sorry this chapter aBSOLUTELY SUCKS

I wanted to get a chapter out tonight because I haven't posted in so long.
