Chapter Two The Assignment

I am not sure if anyone is actually reading this other than Ellethwen2931. Which is why I am going to dedicate this chapter to her. So if anyone is actually reading this please vote or comment.

Legolas' P.O.V
In the Throne room

Ada(father)sends Gandalf and Silmaril out of the room."I would like to speak with you " he informs me.

"About something of great importantce. There have been numerous orc attacks on some of the cities and all around the border. I want you, Silmaril, and some others from the forest gaurd to go patrol the borders. Can you do that?" He asks.

"Of course " I replied. "Gather the different groups tonight and set off in the morning." "Yes Ada. " I reply.

"Oh and Legolas." " Yes" "Silmaril is a very nice young Elleth(she elf)." He replies, and I blush. " Thank you Ada" I mumble.

I start to walk out the door but stop.

"How do you know I like her?" I ask.

"I can tell by the way you look at her. I can tell she is quite taken with you to." He replies.

I only nod and walk out of the throne room.

Lost in thought with what he said running through my head. She is quite taken with you. Over and over again. Right now I need to go inform the forest guard of their new assignment.

I will make sure we will be paired together alone for this assignment.

I am after all the captain.

Silmaril's P.O.V

Legolas calls me and some of the forest gaurd for a new special assignment. We will be traveling in groups of two and will set off first thing in the morning at dawn. I am paired up with Legolas and am glad. I will be able to find out if he really does like me or not.

I return to my room and pack my satchel with an extra cloak, and set of clothes. I also pack plenty of Lembas bread for our journey because I do not know how long we will be gone.

I can only hope that I will spend a lot of time with Legolas.
