Silmaril's P.O.V

" Oh Legolas, I have always loved you." I start

" But you and I both know that we cannot be together. "

"I have to go you know that."

" You are prince and you have your duties."

" I have to go, I have to see the world I have to expirience the world."

"I will always love you no matter what."

"You remember that."
I sigh "I had been meaning to tell you that today but I didn't have the time.""Oh Legolas I'm so so very sorry." I finish, crying

He stares at me realizing what I say. He nods"I know you wouldn't stay"

"It's not your nature, you need to be free.""At least keep this."

He pulls out a small necklace. A leather string with a small while gem shining in the dim light.

A gem of pure starlight.It is one of the silmaril.He hands it to me.

I stare at him tears brimming in my eyes.

"Where did you get this?" I ask.

"My father has a necklace with these on it I kind of took one off it." He says hesitantly.

"Just do not forget me. Ever." He pleads.

I stare into his grey eyes.

"I will never forget you."

"I could not."

He says " You sleep, I'll take watch.You are hurt go to sleep you need the rest."

I just nod and lie down the events of the day finally taking its toll on me.

I saddle my horse Fay, she is a beautiful copper color, with black socks and a white mark on her forehead.

I stare at Legolas sadly. I will miss him so much.

"Farewell my dear Legolas."

"I will see you again do not worry." I promiss him.

"Goodbye" he says.

I turn Fay around and we trot away,tears streaming down my face.

I don't look back but I can feel his gaze on me.

I will miss him.
