My sunshine [flowerfell fanfiction]

Chapter 3: Meet the skeleton brothers

After a few momments later we got our visions back, a bit

I rubbed my eyes and squinted but still, I can only see white

I tried to touch the surface

....

It feels ... Soft

"Ugh where are we?" Flowey asked

It's a snowy forest

The coldness of the air bite my skin, I  wrapped my arms around me

"Hey there's a camera on the bushes!" Flowey informed

I thought for a moment. Someone must be spying on us

"I think we should move" I suggested and we start following the path, through the cold woods.

On the journey, more buttercups growing inside me. Everytime it grows I start to feel a bit weak, and ... Fading. But I don't want Flowey to be worried about me.

Suddenly ...

*crack!*

A loud broken branch sound heard, something or someone must be stepping it.

Me and Flowey look around

"We better move faster" whispers him, quitely

I start running. A shadowy figure is not far behind us.

My heart beats faster as I got scared and exhausted

At last, we found a bridge and a gate

I was about to reach it but the figure shows up right in front of me, I jumped back to give a gap between me and the figure

It wears black hoodie and it's skin are so white, it's face looking down

" H U M A N", said the mysterious figure

It shoves it's hand out

"I think it wants to shake hand" I said in my mind

I took out my hand, slowly

I shaked my hand and a fart noise coming out

The figure reveals it's face, craving a smile, his jaws are so sharp and one of the eye are red and glows like flame

"Hahaha! The ol' whoopie cushion trick, classic! But many got tricked though"

It's a skeleton

"Hey there, I'm Sans. Sans the skeleton" He said

Flowey looks terrified for some reason. Maybe because of Sans's sharp teeth.

Sans shoots a glare at trembling Flowey

"Hey there little flower, why? Are you fear of me?"

He said as his head getting closer to Flowey, then he let out a maniac laugh

"Don't be scared, I won't hurt you!"

We just stood there in silence, watching Sans laughing, unstoppable

"Ah ... Ha ha. I haven't seen humans since years, you must be lost, aren't you? Hmm...hey, go through this gate thingy, my bro make it too big for human to pass" he commanded and kick my butt

I get through the gate and bridge

Then a footstep is heard from the distance

"Heh! That must be my brother, quick hide behind that cell" he pointed at a small cage

Me and Flowey shook our heads immediately after sawing it

He chuckled, "just kudding, go hide behind that lump of snow"

So we do as he said

Soon, another skeleton came, but bit taller and thinner than Sans

It has cat eyes and same glowing red eye as Sans's, wearing a red torn scarf and red boots

"Sans, what are you doing all day?! You worthless piece of shit! You didn't do your puzzles and sleeping all day!" It sounds angry, we take a peek

But Sans just stay relax and chill

"Just lookin' at these pile of snow, wanna join?"

Suddenly bones came out of the surface, striking the pile of snow beside ours

"Well, maybe the other lump of snow have something hidden" Sans said

Me and Flowey getting closer to each other, comforting one another

The tall skeleton growls, "I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THIS! Get your puzzles done or I will kill you! I need to be prepared when there's a human coming through!"

The footsteps are fading. I guess the skeleton already left us

"Ok, you can come out now" told Sans

We nudge out head to look first if the skeleton might come back

"Well, that's my brother, Papyrus, he's on the progress to be the part of the royal guard"

He let out a big sigh, "I'll see you guys later, I must continue making puzzles or he will strike a bone on me"

Then he vanished from our sight like a ghost

We continued, solving puzzles and fight monsters

As we fight the monsters, the buttercups grow and grow, now some of my body parts covered with buttercups already. I weakened and fade away a bit everytime I finished giving a monster 'mercy'.

Finally we reached the end of the forest. There's a sign, made with teared white sheets, then there's a writing on it

"Welcome to Snowdin !"

A small town, everybody look like a killer and rude ...

We're at the center as everybody stare at us, I tried not to make an eye contact and keep walking

Then a hooded man block our way when we suposed to reach a cave at the end

He threw his hoodie away and red coloured bone pops out from the snowy ground, it held a bone like a staff on it's left arm ...

Anytime now he will strike another bone straight into our body

"Do you think you can escape from me so easily? Well ... You need to face me first!"
