Chapter 9: RESET & SAVED

The last hit brought me to my death ....

And then everything comes black ....

But I still have a choice to go back, I could RESET the game ...

RESET

I started back from the first .... But something is different with me

The buttercups already cover half of my body, I feel there are some too on my face ... It has covered one of my eyes, I become so weak every time the buttercups grows ...

As time passes so fast, I was back fighting the ghost.

And again ... I died ....

I keep resetting...

But the buttercups already covered my eyes ... I'm blind and I can't see whats ahead of me anymore ...

Then I was back again.

I tried to make up things with it, but I always failed ...

'Is it as hard as this to give kindness?'

I thought that before the last time I died, then I can't reset anymore ... I will be gone. Forever.

"Please! Don't kill her" Flowey cried

I smiled for what I have been through ... All these time ...

It's just the matter of time

Swoosh!

Crack!

"Ah! What the fuck?! Where did this come from?!" It sounds like the ghosts voice

I heard a rattling sound and clashes

Then in a few second it became so quite ...

"Hey"

"....", I stay quite because this voice seems familiar to me ...

"Are you okay?" The person asked

Anxiously I answered back

"Good to hear it then ..." It says

"W-who are you?" I asked

He chuckles softly

"Don't you remember me? I'm the one who save you from my own brother, and the one who bettayed him"

"...."

"Sans?"

"Hahahaha, you are a fast thinker" he said

'He saved me?' I thought

"You saved me, thank you Sans"

"But why did you save me?" I asked, curiously

"Because, I've been watching you how you face the evil of this world with kindness and something deep in my heart have a feeling. You have kindness, with that kindness, you used it to 'fight' other's ...."

"So I will help you out of here" he continued

I was amazed, for the first time I thought that he is nice and kind, too.

I smiled and felt so happy, I hug him without doubt that has left for him

"Thank you Sans"

"Oh sweetheart" he said and rub my head softly

"Gosh, your body is so cold ... Here ... Take this ...." He wrapped me with something, but I feel warm and cozy by wearing it

"From now on, I will protect you from any danger, even if it will brought me to my own death, I will not leave you astray, I promise ...."

I felt his warm hug around me and I rest my head on his shoulder

"Sans ..." I sobbed, with tears of happiness streaming down

"I'm glad you're here" I said breathing heavily

Somehow, his cold, hard, skeleton fingers felt on my chin. He nodds me up.

"Oh there's no need to cry sweetheart, I'm happy that you're okay", he wiped my tears and brush my cheek gently ....

"Now, shall we continue?" He asked, I can feel he offering his hand to me, I took his hand and we continue the rest of the journey

"Hey don't forget there's me too!" Flowey said, we laughed and then we pick him up.

Together, we can face what will be our next challenge.

I still have hope ...

And I have my determination back ...

Also ... I have him now ... My protector ....
