From Late 2009
Dedicated to |-|aha and Dr Donut
A young girl no more than eleven sat on a hill, with her long blonde hair being pushed about by the wind. She held a book in her left hand and a wooden staff in her right. The girl looked back on her old home, it's wood rotting and the door falling apart. She wondered if she would ever see it again...
"Ardna! C'mon!"
Ardna looked over to the voice of one of her companions. He looked about fourteen, and he had chocolate brown hair just covering his eye brows. The boy had deep brown eyes and a crooked nose. He looked fit, but short for his age. Another boy grunted behind him. This boy was a bit taller than the other and had white-blonde hair almost touching his eye brows. He also had sky blue eyes, and looked about twelve.
"I'm coming, Nai." Ardna replied to the first boy. She got up and walked over to them.
"So today our quest begins," said the second boy.
"Yeah, Nevan..." sighed Nai.
"Y' know, for brothers, you two don't look very much a like. I mean, Nai is an archer, and Nevan is a 'warrior'." Ardna said, putting lots of sarcasm on 'warrior'.
Nevan glared at Ardna, trying to think of a come back.
Nai laughed. "Well, you must admit, it's a great thing to have an archer, warrior, and mage all together."
"Yeah, Nai! It's a great strategy for battle, because of Maridun the High Mage's theory of the combat triangle, you know? Mage beats Warrior," Ardna said triumpantly. Nevan glared at her again. "Warrior beats Archer, and Archer beats Mage. Not that I mind being beaten by Nai, of course." Ardna explained. The three friends started walking towards a large town in the distance.
"Oh, quiet up, bird brain!" Nevan was clearly impressed with himself for coming up with a come back, although he was several minutes late.
"Hmph. Chicken-says-what!" muttered Ardna.
"What?"
"Ha!!"
"Well...um...your face!!"
"That doesn't even make sense!"
"Do I look like I care?!"
The three companions walked into the city of Yannile. They were astounded by it's beauty, and gazed at the buildings in awe.
"Woah." Ardna gasped as she stared at a large tower.
"Ohmigosh! Can we see the Wizard Guild?!"
"No! Let's find a sword shop, bird brain!"
"But magic is way cooler than swo-"
"GUYS! We're going to get a map at the adventurer shop than make our way to Ardougne so we can board a ship to Karamja!" Nai commanded.
"Which brings me to another thing," Nai continued. "If we're going to do this, you two need to get along!"
"Me? Get along with HER?"
"Hmph. Team work is the foundation of humanity, Nevan."
"No it's not. Throwing tomatoes at people is!"
"Nevan, that's humility. I'm talking about humanity."
"Same thing."
Nai looked up at the sky. "Saradomin help me!"
