My Theory:
I believe that Holy Rome IS still out there, watching Italy. Making sure he's okay. When they were kids, he thought Italy was a girl. (PS HE ISN'T SO PISS OFF). After he came to a realization that he still had a big crush on Italy even after the Italian hit puberty, he knew it was meant to be. Though most people ship GerIta, I ship HolyItaly! After Holy Rome came out as a homosexual, Prussia took notice and ran away with him to help sort things out with his whole... Situation....
