Chapter 7

Ashley POV

I awoke feeling colder than when I fell asleep. I rolled over and reached towards the side of the bed for Andy but only grasped more bed sheets. I finally opened my eyes and saw that he wasn't there anymore. My heart started to sink. I probably just dreamed that he kissed me and said that he loved me. I started to sit up then realized I wasn't in my room. I must be at Andy's. I stretched my head down to the side and noticed and noticed a little slip of paper on the pillow next to me. I picked it up and unfolded it.

Good Day sleepy head. 

I'm sorry I had to leave you.  

You're just so cute when you're sleeping, I didn't want to wake you. 

When you wake up, I'm in the basement.  

You can come down if you want.

My heart skipped a beat when he said love. I guess I wasn't dreaming. I didn't know where the basement was but I'll figure it out. I slowly hauled myself out of the comfy bed and rubbed my eyes before trudging down to the main level. As I reached the bottom of the stairs, I could see the front door and on the wall next to me, was another door. I could hear the faint sounds of laughter through it. I opened it and saw another flight of stairs leading to the basement. I walked down, not trying to make any noise. I peered around the corner and saw four guys sitting in chairs that formed a circle with a pug in the middle. 

"CC, dude, your dog is insane." I heard Andy say with a hint of laughter in his voice. 

"Just like meeeeee!" CC said excitedly.  

"So, Andy. Tell us how you got Mr. Popular in your bed." The shortest teased. 

"Um... I....... Uh...... Well........" Andy said nervously, messing with his hair. I took that as my queue to step into the open and clear my throat. Everyone turned and stared at me. When Andy turned around, his face lit up. I stood there awkwardly as four pairs of eyes were trained on me. And only one pair looked happy to see me. 

"Hi." I said softly my face getting hot. Andy suddenly got up and strode toward me, engulfing me in an embrace. I slowly wrapped my arms around his middle in response. 

"I thought you were going to sleep all day." He said lowly, laughter in his voice. I grinned into his chest and laughed lightly. We stayed like that for a moment until I felt warm, soft lips being dragged down my neck and stopping where my shoulder met my neck. 

"Andy." I whispered, not trusting my voice.  

"Mmm?" He moaned low in his throat which turned me on immensely.  

"There are other people here." I giggled quietly. 

"I know." He mumbled against my neck. Andy then let go of me for a moment to turn around. 

"Well get out then! Stop staring! Band practice is over!" He said waving is hand like he was shooing them away. 

"But, we've only been here for an hour and a half...." One of them said confused.  

"I know that Jake. We'll just continue this tomorrow." He replied giving Jake a hard stare. 

"And besides. We were just looking for a bassist today anyway." 

"Okay, see you tomorrow Andy." Jake said still confused. Right then, CC's pug decided to run up the stares barking hysterically. He then continued to run back down the stairs and run into me. I turned around and giggled at his dumbfounded face. I bent down to pet him, but instead I was just knocked onto my butt as he tackled me in a frenzy of kisses. After the dog was done eating my face, it sat back and looked at me expectantly. 

"What?" I asked him. He gave a little bark in response which I chuckled at and rubbed behind his ears. 

"OMG HE LIKES YOU!" CC squealed in excitement. We all stared at him like he had just grown two heads. 

"His name is Herbie The Luv Pug." CC continued, excited to be able to share things about his crazy dog. 

"That's awesome." I said grinning at the pug.  

"I thought of it myself." He replied proudly. 

"I never would've guessed." CC then walked over and picked Herbie up and started cooing at him. By this time, the other two had left and it was just me, Andy, and CC in the basement. 

"Well, I'll leave you guys to your.................... activities." CC said giggling to himself as he walked up the stairs with his dog in tow behind him. When we were finally alone, Andy sat down next to me and started blushing. 

"What?" I asked confused. 

"Nothing..." He said pursing his lips. 

"Why are you being nervous all of a sudden?" I asked smiling. 

"Cause reasons!" He said, smiling back at me. 

"I'll tickle you." I warned. His eyes widened but his expression soon went back to normal. 

"I-I'm not ticklish." He said.  

"Damn you suck at lying." I laughed before launching myself on top of him and tickling his stomach. 

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHA ST-STOP A-ASHLEY IM GONNA PEE!" Andy yelled. 

"DO IT I DARE YOU!" I challenged. I continued to tickle Andy while he squirmed underneath me, laughing uncontrollably. All of a sudden, Andy grabbed onto my shoulders and flipped us over. My eyes widened as he smirked. 

"Who's helpless now?" He whispered in my ear seductively. I gulped and tried to control the crotchual situation in my pants. A laugh vibrated through his chest as he whispered again, "getting excited are we?" My eyes widened as I opened my mouth to speak.
