Ashley Pov
As we descended down the stairs, the voices of the occupants got slowly louder. When Andy and I rounded the corner, the happy laughter stopped and two pairs of curious eyes were staring at us. CC however, had his eyes squeezed shut.
"Are you guys still naked?!"
"No! how daft do you think we are CC?" Andy replied, rolling his eyes.
"Phew! I don't EVER want to see your naked bodies again! It was horror to see that much." CC said shuddering.
"Oh like you're one to talk! When it snows, you take off your pants and run around in it!" Jake cut in and CC flushed in embarrassment. I laughed and the others soon joined in. Andy pulled me over to sit on the couch next to him and there was a slightly awkward silence settled over the group of teenage boys.
"So Ashley...." Jinxx said after a moment.
"Why are you here? like, I thought you hated us." Jake finished for him.
"Well..." I started then suddenly felt nervous because if Andy and his friends didn't like me I was pretty much screwed for friends or a social life and friends. "I never really hated you. How could I? I didn't even know you. Then when Andy moved in, I kind if started to like him and I just mustered up the courage to make a move."
"Well that was a pretty dramatic move now wasn't it Ash?!" CC exclaimed, eyes wide. My stomach knotted in excitement when he called me Ash. Maybe I have a chance with Andy's friends. I thought happily.
"Well unless you really want to live in hell everyday, welcome to the club Ash." Jake said smiling slightly at me. I felt my smile open up completely as my eyes met each of theirs. The evening continued on with us joking and laughing about random things. Eventually everyone had gone home and it was just Andy and I in the basement. Again.
"So do you want to go home or stay here tonight?" Andy asked after a short moment of silence.
"I don't know what do you want me to do?"
"Well I want you to stay here but I think you should go home so your parents don't get worried about you." I sighed and nodded in response.
"Could you drive me then?"
"How about we walk? No need to waste gas when you only live up the street." Andy replied smirking.
"Ugh. Okay." I smiled back and stood up, grabbing Andy's hand in mine, pulling him up next to me. We walked up the sidewalk in a comfortable silence, looking up at the star-scattered sky. As I got to my front door, I spun on my heel and smashed our lips together for a moment before pulling away and walking quietly into my house a smirk playing on my lips.
