Chapter 3

The bell rang for lunch, and that was the time I decided to tell my friends that I was moving and that I possibly won't be there for the Valentine's ball.

"Ok so I've already told Mia but I'm gonna tell you guys anyways so whatever."
Jay just stared at me waiting for me to continue while Mia looked somewhere else.

"My mom checked me out early yesterday to tell me that we are apparently moving out of the state."

"What!!!"Jay nearly yelled.

"I know right, I had the same reaction, and my mom won't even tell me why."

Why don't you just ask her. Mia said.

"I did, and all she said was about some random crap about me understanding later on."

"Maybe you guys are in danger or something."

"Well that would make sense ,after all, I don't even know where my parents work."

"Dude!!! We're gonna fucking miss you Carmen, We've gotta make the most out of our time we have left with you."Jay said.

Jay and Mia have me a tight hug, the feeling was pleasant especially since I felt Mia's breast pressed on my side. I know I'm a perve, bite me.

"We're ditching 6th period."Mia said.

"Hey ,what do you think about this ?"

I looked up from my phone and saw Mia holding a pair of necklaces with a heart pendant. I took the neckalaces from her and looked at the insition on the pendants. It was an infinity sign on the front and our horoscope signs on the back. I'm a Pisces and Mia is a Virgo. I smiled at her. It's beautiful Mia but we already have a friendship neckalace.

"I know but..." Mia pauses for a while. I started to feel bad for what I said.

"But, you bought them so I wanted to buy another one for when you leave."
Mia wore a sad smile on her face. I gave her a tight hug.

"You know I kinda feel bad that you didn't get Jay one of those neckalace.". I joked.

She laughed and slapped my arm.
We played video games with Jay and as usual, we both lost to Jay. We chilled on the couch and started binge watching on Netflix.

Jay left later on because he had work .
We both went up to my room since my parents were home. The room was silent. I looked over to Mia, she was looking at our pictures in the scrapbook.

"I'm gonna go to the store to get us some snacks do you want anything?"

"Just suprise me."she smiled.

I went to Wal-Mart and filled my cart with random junk. I got Mia some Junior Mints and some sweet hostess pastries. Then I felt someone's eyes on me. I looked around but saw no one near since it was around 10. I went to the cash register and waited in the long line.
I felt that creepy stare again. I did my best to ignore it. After paying for all the snacks I rushed to my car. For some reason I felt like someone dangerous was looking out for me. I had a bad feeling in my gut. I rushed to put all the stuff in the trunk and quickly got in. I drove quickly back home.

"Hey Mia, can you help me get the snacks?"
Mia was on my bed watching TV.

"So I'm guessing you filled the cart again?"

She helped me carry 4 bags in while I carried the rest.

"Jeez girls you buy too much , I'm suprised you still manage to maintain a fit body."my mom chuckled.

"Well you know us teens, we love our food."

We carried the snacks into my room and put the bags in the corner. I tossed Mia a box of Junior Mints.
We stayed up longer and she ended up staying the night. She once again slept on my bed. I stared at her sleeping form admiring her beauty inside and out.

Man I'm going to miss this girl. I cried a little bit and recovered. Since I probably won't have the courage or the chance to tell her when Valentine's day comes, I decided to confess while she was sleeping. I poked Mia's side to make sure she was really sleeping, she remained still. I confessed everything in a soft and quiet voice still staring at her face .

"Right now I'm too much of a coward to tell you everything when you can actually hear me, but it's still something when I'm saying it to your face." I sighed.

"If I wasn't so scared of your reaction and my current moving situation,I I'd tell you my deepest darkest secret. I am a bisexual. I've known for quite a long time, since middle school. I've mostly developed these small crushes but I've never tried dating, but then near the ending of 6th grade you come along." I laughed.

"As I was saying, you come along. Ar first I just thought of you like I did of every one of my friends. Ooh, I like her , she's my companion now , it's funny to me how friendships work. Then I developed a massive crush on you when I was in 8th grade, another reason why I became distant from you for like 2 weeks. I thought I'd get over you by highschool but well you make it so hard I fell for you in the midst of freshman year. I never meant to fall for you or even start it with crushing." I paused for a while now kneeling down so that I'm fully face to face with her.

"You are just the most beautiful person at heart, your looks just represent a book. A beautiful cover with beautiful content inside if that make sense, I'm not good at metaphors, I'm in love with you Mia Kross." I finished my confesion and placed a kiss on her forehead.

I woke up a bit too early for my liking. I checked my phone and had a few messages from Jay and Mia.

Jay: Hey since today is Saturday why don't we go to six flags? Text me when you and Mia get there.

Mia: Apparently we're going to six flags, I already asked my mom when I she picked me up this morning so pick me up ok , love ya <3

I replied to both messages and went downstairs to eat breakfast.

"Good morning sweety , you're up early for a change."

"Morning mom, today my friends want to go to six flags, is it ok for me to spend the night at Mia's?"

My mom thought for a while, I'm seriously going to get posses if she doesn't let me go. My mom looked worried for a second.

"Ok, but only in one condition."

"What's that?"

"You have to leave your phone on and call me ...and you cannot go anywhere else unless you ask my permission."

"That's three mom, but okay thank you mom."

My mom gave me a serious look.

"You have to promise me you'll do this , if you don't this will be the last time I let you go anywhere,at least without me stalking your every move."

"Okay mom , don't worry about it."

I gave my mom a hug before going upstairs to get ready.
Six flags here we come.
