The boys drove me home as soon as we finished dinner. I couldn't help but wish I was going home with them. In comparison, my giant house seemed so lonely... And they are One Direction. I slowly got out of the car, trying to savour every moment. I hadn't even totally realised until this second that I had just spent a whole day with ONE DIRECTION. My mind was officially blown.
I realised I had to get out of the car soon, or the boys would probably think I was a weirdo, which, in all honesty, I probably was, but I didn't want them to know that. I began to walk to my house when Niall called out.
"Jennifer, wait!" He said as he began to open his car door and made his way over to me.
"Yes?" I called out, desperately trying to suppress my squeal of delight. I turned around slowly, raising one eyebrow (Yeah, I can do that).
Niall took three long steps to reach me. I gazed up into his irresistible eyes. I was so tempted to get up on my toes and kiss him, but I had a feeling that it wasn't the right time.
"Tell your mother that I can't wait to go on a second date. And I would absolutely love it if we could have a meeting to discuss some 'arrangements'." He smiled.
"Of course." I said in my best posh voice. "And we must NOT let her know that we know her crazy scheme." I added as an afterthought. "You never know what my mother will do if she knows. She's a pretty unpredictable person."
"I thought as much." He leaned down and gave me a quick peck on the cheek. My heart almost stopped right then and there. I had to practically force my hand up to wave a feeble goodbye.
"I'll call you tomorrow." Niall said. "And I do want that meeting with your mother."
"Definitely. I'll arrange it for after our second date." I blew him a kiss.
"Good night, Niall." I smiled as I watched him walk away, hand over my heart. I couldn't believe Niall was mine. Even if he was only mine because of my mother. He can be yours forever, my mind whispered to me. I froze.
"He could be mine forever... All I have to do is prevent him from getting his hands on that contract and he would have to be mine..." I murmured to myself. I couldn't help but play with the idea in my mind. I just loved Niall so much, and this was my one ticket to be married to someone I really loved... Who knows if Lottie's luck would work? Knowing me, I'd probably get this unattractive guy who only wants to talk about the history of the microwave... Or something. And here I am, willing to throw away a marriage agreement with none other than Niall Horan. How stupid could I be?
I began to walk towards my house, my feet crunching against the gravel in my driveway. What if I made him think I was working with him, but I was really working against him? Would he believe it if we couldn't find the contract? I could probably convince my mother to leave it at home, cue a dejected look, and Niall would believe me. As long as I gained his trust from the very beginning... Which I believe I already had, then I was good to go. I couldn't stop an evil smile from making its way across my face. I was going to marry Niall Horan. There would be no ripping up of contracts, because I would be with Niall forever. He would learn to love me, in time. Especially if he thought I was working with him.
I skipped through my front door, doing a fancy little jig as I locked it and walked through the hallway. Niall and I would be together forever...

I smiled as I watched Jennifer's figure slim figure fade into the night.
"What made you change your mind about her?" Louis asked. All the boys were curious, I could see it in their faces.
"Well, her mother set us up. She never thought we would end up together. It was just a distant dream to her, I guess." I smiled. "But she's a nice girl."
"Oh no, you don't like her, do you?" Harry asked, he rolled his eyes.
"What's wrong with liking her?" I defended myself.
"Everything is wrong about that! She lied to us. She said she was sick, for crying out loud!"
"She didn't lie!" I exclaimed. "That was her mother."
"Ever heard the phrase, like mother, like daughter. This girl is going to be just like her mother, trust me on that."
"She will not." I shook my head.
"Oh, yes she will, I can smell it." Harry pretended to sniff the air.
"Since when can you smell psycho on people?" I laughed. "Your being paranoid, Haz."
"Like you have been all day." Liam remarked.
"Exactly, she is a nice girl, and I'm going to keep seeing her." I replied, thankful that someone agreed with me.
"I can't stop you, but let me tell you this, I don't trust her. If she's evil, don't come running to me."
I rolled my eyes. Sometimes Harry has such crazy ideas.
