Love Sick

Chapter 10

Weeks have past, and Naruto never left kakashis room. When kakashi left the house, that's when Naruto would use the washroom, and sometimes get a snack. Kakashi did enter the room twice without Naruto freaking out, but that's just because he set ramen just inside the door to the room. He didn't want to get to close to Naruto.

When kakashi gave him his ramen, he made small talk, mostly one sentence, sometimes two.

Today, kakashi didn't make ramen, he made a healthy meal. Mostly fruits and vegetables. When he opened the door, Naruto was curled up in a ball in the middle of the bed, starring at him, with those pale, dead eyes... Those eyes that were no longer filled with hope and joy.

He walked in, and decide to take and extra couple steps today.

"stay away from me!" naruto yelled. "no, no! I PROMISE I'm not going to hurt you, I'm just gonna put the meal on the bed this time. So you don't have to get up."

Naruto slide towards the back of the bed, to keep distance. Kakashi walked over slowly, and sat the meal on the bed, then back up keeping his hands in the air. He stopped by the door, and watched Naruto.

"what do you want?" naruto said still starring at him. "do you mind if I stand here? I just want to let you know that I'm not going to hurt you. I'll stay here..I promise." kakashi said with sad eyes.

Naruto was the the of person who trust ANYONE who said "I promise" even if he believes that the person tortured him.

"o-okay.. But you have to give me all your weapons, so if you do try something, I can kill you." naruto said feeling a little more confident.

Kakashi was about to cry, 'he actually won't hesitate to kill me..' he thought to himself.

"I'm sorry, all my weapons are in the kitchen. If you want I can go and get them for you. " Naruto nodded, and kakashi slowly went to go get his weapons.

He came back and slowly walked towards the bed. He set the weapons on the edge of the bed, and walk back. Naruto slid back to the middle of the bed, and grabbed them. He put all of the weapons behind him, except for one kunai, which he held in his hand.

"may I sit down?" kakashi asked pointing to the chair beside him. Naruto hesitated but let him, by nodding.

"Kakashi.." naruto started.

"yes Naruto?" kakashi asked plainly.

"why....why did you do it" naruto asked looking disappointed.

Kakashi shook his head. "I didn't, I promise you I didn't do it. I don't know who did, but I do know that the anbu found him, and he is dead now."

Naruto wanted to trust kakashi, he still loved him. It was just really hard to, considering he thinks that he tortured him.

"I know that no matter what I say, you won't believe me. But I just want you too know, that I love you, and that if I could have stopped this from happening...I would have.."

Naruto got more and more confident, every time he spoke to kakashi.

"kakashi... Come here"

Kakashi looked at naruto shocked, "but...you'll kill me. You said that I'm not allowed to move."

"well, if I tell you to come, then that's different."

Kakashi, slowly stood up, and walked over to naruto, keeping a good 3 feet from him. When kakahi stopped, naruto put up one finger and gave him a 'come here' motion. Kakashi took a couple more steps and stopped again.

Kakashi was right in front of naruto. "sit down" naruto told him, and he obliged instantly. Naruto held the kunai to kakashis stomach. "now if you try anything, you'll kill yourself." he said with a serious tone.

Kakashi took a risk..I huge risk. He took narutos hand with the kunai and stabbed himself. (no where fatal.) naruto gasped. "kakashi what are you doing?!" he said getting scared. He let go of the kunai and slide back again.

Kakashi quickly pulled out the kunai and pulled Naruto in for a hug. Not a tight one, but a gentle, warming one. Naruto didn't move, he couldn't. He was still too shocked. After a minute kakashi released the hug. "I'm sorry Naruto, but I just wanted to show you that I wasn't going to hurt you."

Kakashi put a hand on narutos shoulder. But naruto flinched when he did. "I'm sorry, naruto" kakashi got up, and walked to the door. "I'm so sorry" he whispered without looking back. Without any other words, kakashi left, and naruto still sat there, full of shock, fear, and love..

"I don't know.." naruto whispered to himself.
