KEVIN
If you were in a hot girls house watching a movie and she suddenly pushes closer to you and leans her head on your shoulder what would you do?
Now I know must other guys would say 'make a move man' or some even might say 'bang her'. But not me. I just sat there. Didn't move one muscle.
And the reason why? I'm scared. I'm scared of getting rejected and I'm scared of doing the wrong thing. That's why I don't get girls. Aaron always calls me a pussy and in a way I guess I am. I'm very confident around my friends and family and even texting girls, but when I'm alone with a girl in person I panic. Especially ones like Ciara. I become very self conscious and I don't know what to do or say. Usually I blurt out the wrong thing. Pitiful, I know.
The sides of our bodies were touching and I could smell her sweet shampoo. I really wanted to hold her but she might think I'm weird. Heck that would be weird if I just held her sleeping body. Cop on Kev.
The film ended and I decided it was time for me to leave before any further moments or awkwardness and embarrassment on my part. I didn't want to disrupt Ciara so I carefully carried her down to her bedroom. Having her in my arms felt so good. I know I may sound somewhat perverted but it's true. She was as light as a feather and I gently placed her in the centre of her bed, wrapping the covers around her. I gave her a light peck on the cheek because I simply couldn't resist. I left the room and went back into the kitchen.
I decided to write Ciara a note for 2 reasons:
1) So she won't think I'm some pervert who drugged her and brought her to bed just to take advantage of her.
And 2) Because I don't meet girls like Ciara every day and I wanted to give her my number. It took a lot of confidence to scribble down my digits but I did it. What's the harm? She probably thinks I'm a freak and will never call me anyway. Oh well.

It was Monday at exactly 12:37pm when I received a text from none other than the girl of my dreams. I was overjoyed to say the least. I was also very shocked at the fact she actually took time out of her day to text me. My joy soon turned to disappointment as I read the text.
It was a group text. How stupid of me to think she'd actually text me. Should I text back? Do I just ignore it? My questions were answered as Aaron leaned over my shoulder reading the text.
"She's hot man. I know what you should do!" He grabbed my phone from my hand while I was slightly lost in thought about Ciara.
He threw my phone on the bean bag beside him with a contented smirk on his face. Oh great. What has he done! I hastily grabbed my phone while glaring at him. I panicked when I saw that Aaron had replied to her saying 'Ciara who?'
"What the fuck man?!" I questioned Aaron.
"It's called playing hard to get Kev, I do it all the time. Works like magic. Act like you don't remember her then BAM you have have her wrapped around your finger. Just you wait and see, she'll reply."
"I sure as hell hope so! God she probably thinks I'm a player who texts so many Ciara's" As I began thinking out loud Aaron started to laugh. Prick.
"Calm down Kev she's just a chick.. So are you going to the party?"
"I don't know-" should I go? I don't even know Ciara.
"Sorry let me rephrase that - you ARE going to that party. I can see how much you've wanted that girl to text you. You've been checking your phone every 10 minutes since yesterday. So I'm going to teach you how to talk to her and ARE going to tell her how you feel." What a lovely friend I have. Note the sarcasm.
"Fine but your coming with me. I don't care what went down between you and her friend just put it behind you." I needed his support if I was even going to show my face in front of Ciara again.
"Already forgotten" Aaron replied confidently although I sensed he was acting.
"What if she doesn't reply? Do we still go?"
"Yeah. She will reply just you wait. I know what I'm doing."

And that's what I did. I waited and I waited for 12 whole days. And no text from her. I couldn't help but think Aaron didn't have a clue what he was doing.
Saturday morning came and we were in my room sitting on my leather couch. It was time for 'Aaron's women masterclass' as he liked to call it.
"Okay lesson one: how to unclasp the bra-" Aaron began.
"Stop! Stop! God, I don't need help with that. I just need to know how to talk to a girl."
We spent the day arguing about how to approach girls and what to say to them. As Ciara's text didn't mention a time we weren't sure when to leave the house.
I wore a plain white t-shirt with my black leather jacket, black jeans and my grey converse. My usual party outfit. Aaron wore denim jeans with a grey hoody and his grey Vans. I couldn't help but notice how casual he looked. It was as if he wasn't going to a party at all. Hmm.
We got into my car and I drove slowly towards her house. As we turned the corner onto her street we saw the road with lots of cars either side. God she just be very popular. I don't stand a chance.
I parked and I we walked towards her front door. For some reason I felt nervous about coming here. Should I be here?
Aaron knocked on the wooden door and a face I recognised opened the door. Aaron immediately blushed.
"I'm sorry who are ye?" Clo asked. Oh god. Are we not invited? Did she send me that text to make fun of me? As Aaron looked down at his feet not wanting to be recognised, I had to answer.
"I'm uh Kev and this is Aaron." She leaned on the door and studied my face, a look of amusement on her face. Is this some sort of joke?
"I'm sorry, Kev and Aaron who?"
