I awoke to his scent enticing me, surrounding me and engulfing me into it. My arms instinctively tried to hold him tighter but something wasn't right. His scent began to fade as I opened my eyes and searched the room just in time to hear the silence of a cold lonely room. My eyes searched for any sign of him, but there wasn't one, he was gone. I sat for a few moments thinking he would come back soon because the words he said last night, he meant them I just know it. I sat up and grabbed my cellphone scrolling down my contacts for his name, but when I called I got no answer. I left a voice mail telling him to call me then I crawled out of my bed and slipped on my robe going downstairs to looked for him, again I found nothing. I let my head hang low as I climbed back up my stairs and into my room closing the door behind me, he was a liar and I had fallen for his trick. What did he get from all of this anyway? Did he get some kind of sick pleasure from knowing I was wrapped up in his little game? I pulled on my clothes and brushed my hair down before making my bed. I wasn't going to cry, I absolutely refused to give him the pleasure of knowing I cried yet again over him.

"Hey sweetheart, Cassiddy's here. Are you ready to go?" She smiled and I could tell she had just gotten home but I didn't know exactly when. I had forgotten I promised to go baby shopping with them. I nodded and made my way down to my moms car sitting in the passenger seat with Cassidy in the backseat like we used to do before all of this.

"Gosh I wish we knew if it was a boy or a girl so we could know what clothes to buy already!" Cassidy whined as we pulled onto the road.

"Cross your fingers for a girl, I have the perfect name her." I smiled turning to smiled at my best friend.

"Really you've finally found a name, what is it?" My mom asked looking stunned.

"Kylie or Bennett. I don't really have the name thing down but I have it down a little." I smiled as we pulled up to the store. We got out and were quickly enveloped into the land of baby products.

There were clothes, and furniture, and toys, it was hypnotizing. We decided to just by the basics like pacifiers, bottles, rockers, and a few other things. And by a few I mean my mom was going completely overboard with the baby items. By the time we made it out of there I didn't even want to think of baby things. I checked my phone hoping for a call from Eric I even called him and left another voice mail but I knew it was hopeless. After shopping I decided it would probably be best to stay out of the house so Cassidy called up Jason and we all decided to hit up the fair, I was shocked so many people were there. Usually it's not so crowded here, I mean there's always tons of people but never this many.

"So what do you wanna do, Ms. I'm Too Busy For My Own Cousin Lately?" Jason asked with a devilish grin.

"Jason, I'm sorry there was just so much going on. I missed you though! Honestly." I smiled hugging his side as walked aimlessly through the fair, He sighed and patted my head giving in to my excuses.

"Let's play the game with the water guns, you know when you shot the clown till his balloon head explodes?" Cassidy grinned pointing out the game.

"Seriously, you would pick a violent game Cass." I sighed smiling as I took Jason's wallet to pay for the game.

"Well that's a nice way of asking me 'Oh hey Jason, can I borrow a few bucks?' just steal my wallet." He frowned but I kissed his cheek and handed him a water gun.

"Well you're a gentleman right, you shouldn't mind paying for your favorite cousin to play a nice little game." I smiled.

"Yeah nice, we're blowing up clown heads in the most reasonable fashion." He sighed before snatching his wallet from me and stuffing it into his pocket. He ended up winning that game with me coming in second and Cassidy in last.
