I felt stiff as if my body wouldn't move other then the occasionally thump of my heart in my chest. My mouth was bitter and dry, and for some reason my body seemed moist. I couldn't remember anything but Eric's face before I blacked out and he had been trying to say something, something important but I... I couldn't remember what. Suddenly a sharp pain pinched my stomach and my muscles awoke reminding me of how much pain I was actually in, I wanted to groan by my lips felt numb as my ears began to whistle.

"Adalaid i'm so sorry, I should've been there. This would've never have fucking happened if I had been there!" Someone shouted I knew it was a boy, but my mind was buzzing and I couldn't really make out the voice.

"It's all of our faults, we should of watched her better." A voice sang and from the tone I knew it was Cassidy. My eyes fluttered open stung by the light sending me blind for a few seconds as they adjusted.

"C-C-C..." I paused catching my breath, my throat was sore. I instantly recognized the male voice I had been hearing was Ryan's and the scene around me was a hospital room. "C-Cassidy?" I asked weakly.

"Ada, I'm right here. We were worried!" She said coming to me quick as she could and handing me the glass of water off the night stand. My hands shook for a minute as I took a hesitant sip.

"What's g-going on?" I asked nervous before the aching in my stomach return and I began to scream out in agony.

"You... We don't know. Eric called us frantic saying he was leaving you with Dr. Morgan." Jason explained getting up from his seat.

"You blacked out during a argument, Eric left the story on the voice mail." My mom pitched.

"But when we got here... The doctor said he left right after bringing you." My dad said quietly. I began to move but my dad pushed my shoulder down and instructed me it was best not to move, but soon a doctor walked in and I could tell she was one of our kind.

"Nice to see your awake. I'm Dr. Morgan, I've got some test results for you." She sighed her face looking very serious. "You've been stressing a lot Adalaid, so much that it has caused your water to break prematurely. For the last 18 hours that you've been sleeping we've have to give you a certain amount of medications to keep your from pushing but there's no way we can keep the baby contained. You're dilating against the reverses of the medicines so the best we can do is hope you don't make it to 10 anytime soon."

"That can't be right!" My mother shrieked, she was afraid I could see it in her eyes she wished it wasn't true.

"How dilated is she?" My asked not seeming as afraid as my mother but concern still laced in his voice. All heads turned to Dr. Morgan as she took in a shaky breath and looked at me, it was clear she felt uncomfortable about saying.

"You're a good 5 and a half centimeters last time I checked Ms. Wolfe." She huffed. "I explained to the young man who had brought you here that you were losing a frightening amount of blood and it could potentially harm the baby, especially since the baby's already at risk being born 2 months before due date."

"Is there anything we could do?" My Uncle Blake asked speaking up. Every set of eyes in the room focused on Dr. Morgan but mine, I was looking down at the long tub that seemed inserted through my bell button.

"No much sir, I'm afraid not. We just have to hope as a Alpha offspring it matured faster then expected." Dr. Morgan spoke softly

"What's the IV for?" I asked abruptly and noticed everyone get nervous.

"We have a pharmacist on call preparing a type of steroid too be given to the baby while it's still in your womb in hopes it helps him mature a bit more. Right now it's just to make sure you and the baby are getting enough fluids." Dr. Morgan explained.
