Chapter 17

"It's a surprise." Zayn said with a smile.

"I hate surprises." I whined as I looked up at Zayn.

"Oh well." Zayn said as he looked down at me.

"Please tell me Zayn." I said as I made a puppy dog face. He stared at me for a moment before shaking his head.

"Puppy eyes won't work on me." He said quickly.

"Please Zayn." I said as I moved my face closer to his. He closed the space between our lips as our lips moved together. He pulled away and looked at me with a smirk.

"Very seductive but nope." He said with a smirk. I faced forward and crossed my arms over my chest.

"Fine." I scoffed and looked out the window, trying to get an idea of what direction we were going to maybe know where they were taking me. After about twenty five minutes, of curiosity and trying to coax the boys into telling me where they were taking me, the vehicle came to a stop. I quickly looked out the window and saw a large building, my eyes quickly making there way to the sign. My eyes widened and a large smile spread across my face as I read the sign Laser Kraze. I quickly got out of the black Range Rover and waited for the others to get out as well.

"Surprise!" The boys shouted once everybody was out of the vehicle. I smiled widely at them and looked to the building, quickly walking towards the entrance. Once inside we were met by a half-lit room with a counter and a door to the left. Liam quickly walked over to the counter where a woman stood and told him that he needed equipment for six to play. The woman quickly handed over six vests and six laser tag guns. I was the first to take one from Liam, pulling the vest onto my body. The woman explained the rules and other necessities we needed to know before playing the game. We walked through the door into another large half-lit room that had large black padded blocks spread out around the room. I smirked and looked to the boys who stood along side of me. A horn sounded and all of us quickly separated, all running in different directions. I quickly ducked down behind one of the blocks as I peered past the edge looking for any of the five boys that were spread out across the room. I watched as someone moved and I quickly identified the person as Niall. I jogged across the room over behind where Niall was and shot my laser gun at the dot on his chest. Niall laughed and looked at me.

"Pretty good." He said before raising his gun to the air. "I'm out!" Niall shouted as I quickly pressed my back to the next large black block. I was startled by a sudden movement close to me and jumped forward looking to meet the eyes of Liam. I smirked and quickly shot the dot on his chest before he had the chance to shoot me. He quickly did the same as Niall had just minutes earlier and walked over to a bench we were told to sit at once we had been shot.

"Two down three to go." I whispered to myself as I jogged over to the next block, making sure to stay silent. I looked around and saw no one so decided to run across to another block. I looked over to see Zayn with his back pressed against the block, looking at me with wide eyes. Before he even had the chance to move I shot the dot on his chest. He sighed and walked over to the bench. I looked across the room to see Harry staring at me, my eyes immediately widened and I pressed my back to the black padding. I heard foot steps running towards my location and my heartbeat immediately increased. I poked my head around to see nothing. I decided it was clear to run and made it half way to the next block before I ran into Harry, both of us stumbling to the ground. I fell on top of Harry as he looked at me with a smirk.

"Game over Styles." I said before quickly getting up and shooting his little dot, making it turn blue signaling he had been shot. He got up and started to walk towards the bench, as he passed me he smacked my bum causing me to gasp.

"Louis and Abby, you're the last two!" I heard Liam shout and I smirked, knowing I was going to win.

"Be prepared to lose to a girl again Louis!" I shouted cockily. I heard shuffling and quickly turned around meeting the dark shadow of Louis' body. My breath hitched in my throat as I ran to the next block, hiding myself from Louis. I peeked my head past the block to see Louis was already half way to where I was hiding. I quickly ran in the opposite direction and spun around so that Louis was in perfect sight and I could shoot him.

"Look out Louis!" I heard all the boys shout but they were too late and I had already shot Louis. Louis pretended he had been shot by a real gun and placed his hand to the small blue glowing dot on his chest.

"Agh you got me!" Louis shouted and he dropped to his knees, being dramatic. I laughed at him as he quickly got up and we walked over to the bench where the other boys sat. Harry and Zayn, of course, were the first to get up.

"Have you ever played laser tag before this?" Zayn asked looking at me.

"Nope this was my first time ever." I said as I started to take the vest off, the boys doing the same.

"Sure didn't seem like it." Louis said as we all walked out to the first room and handed over the vests and guns to the woman at the counter.

"Did you have fun?" Harry asked as he smiled at me.

"Of course I did, it's always fun kicking your guys' arses!" I said with a grin. The boys and I burst out into laughter before we walked to the entrance to leave. We all quickly piled into the large black vehicle and pulled out of the parking lot. I sat on Zayn's lap once again as we drove back to the apartment. The car ride consisted of all of us singing along to every song that had came onto the radio. Once we had arrived at the house I went straight in, not waiting a second for the others. I quickly changed into a t-shirt and pajama shorts before quickly going into the living room.

"Thank you guys so much for the laser tag, it was so much fun." I said with a large smile.

"Any time babe." Zayn said as he walked over and draped his arm around my shoulder.

"Well I'm exhausted so I'm going to bed. Good night guys." I said as I yawned and stretched my arms out behind my head. Harry quickly got to his feet, making his way over to me and placed a gentle kiss on my cheek and hugged me. After all the other boys had given me a hug I walked back to Zayn and I's bedroom and found my way to the bed. Shortly after I had gotten under the duvet Zayn walked in and joined me, laying next to me. He pulled my body close to his and I immediately cuddled into his warm body. I looked up to Zayn who was staring down at me with a smile. His lips caught mine in a gentle kiss before he whispered good night to me. I smiled and laid my head on his chest as I closed my eyes and let sleep wash over me.
