Together At Last

T.G.I.F. Thats right it's Friday and I know I'm suppose to happy because it's the last day of school but I'm not, I'm nervous. I made my descison on who I want to be with and its gonna be hard because I know Cobe is going to so heartbroken but hey it's my life and I feel that I would be happy with Nate.

On the way to school

I decided that I wanted to walk to school just because I was in the mood. I say goodbye to mom and went out the door. When I started walking and  heard a door close and I turned around and saw that it was Nate. It been a while since I walked to and from school because I forgot he walks.
Ash:HEY NATE (waves to him)

Nate turns around with a surprise look on my face

Nate: hey ash... when did you start walking again

Ash: today. I was just in the mood, but hey don't get use too it

Nate: don't worry I wasn't planning to I know how lazy you are

Ash:(playfully hit his arm) shut up

Nate: hey (rubbing his arm) don't be mad at me for telling the truth

Ash:whatever dummy

Nate: hey I'm not the dummy you are (pushes ash lightly)

Ash: no you are (pushes back)

Nate: haha OK whatever

Ash:yay I win (sticks tongue out)

Nate: yeah yeah yeah

We start laughing at each other. I can't remember the last time we had this much fun together. It was nice to make fun of each. Like old times.

After our laughing died down we became silent but it wasn't awkward it was... nice but then I started to become curious

Ash: soo... your not going to ask me if I made a descion?

Nate:( turns and looks at ash) Ash like I told you yesterday I don't want you to feel pressured to pick someone and take your time. And also I want you to know whether you pick me or not I will still be your friend

Ash: aww Nate that was so sweet. I'm glad your my friend

Nate: hey you know what we use to say when we we're little

Ash: what 'get away you have cooties' (laughs)

Nate:(laughs) no

Ash: then what

Nate: we'll be friend forever and always

Ash:(smiles) oh yeah i remember that was the day you got in trouble for hitting a boy that took my doll from me. And from that day we were close

Nate: yeah and I will always hit a boy that steals you're doll

Ash: hahaha OK

They finally make it school

Nate: well we're here

Ash:we sure are

Nate: well we better get to class

Ash: Nate wait

Nate stops and turns to Ash

Ash:um... I have to talk to you after school

Nate: OK I'll see you after school

Ash: OK

They wave while walking away from each other.

Through the whole day I never saw Cobe. I wonder where he was so I asked his friends and they said that he moved. I mean I would be lying if I didn't say I was relieved. This just became so much easier.

The last bell rang and you know what that means... SUMMER!!!!

I walk out of school with my two best friends jasmine(jazz) and Katy

Jazz: OMG our last year in elementary finished

Katy: finally I can't wait to go to middle school

Ash: me neither

Nate: ASH

I turn around to see Nate running towards me. And we both have a smile on our face

Ash: hey ITS THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL

Nate: I know summer has began. Oh hey jazz hey Katy

Jazz: hey

Katy: hey Nate

Nate turns back to Ash

Nate: so you wanted to talk to me about something

Ash: yeah ( turns to jazz and Katy )
hey guys I'll talk to y'all later

Jazz: OK call me later bye Ash bye Nate

Katy: yeah call me to bye guys

Nate: bye

Ash: bye guys

Me and Nate wave to jazz and Katy as they walk away

Nate: so do you want to walk home together

Ash: yeah let's go

They start to walk a few blocks then Nate broke the silence

Nate: soo what's up what do you want to talk about

Ash: uhh... my descion

Nate: OK

Ash stops them both from walk and now shes standing in front of him on the side walk

Ash: well after thinking about it and from our talk this morning it became clear who I wanted to be with... and that's you Nate. I want to be with you.

Nate has the biggest smile on he's face that is feels with excitement

Nate: REALLY (clears throat) I mean really

Ash: hahaha yeah really I chose you Nate

Nate: Ash that's awesome (he steps closer to her and hug her and Ash returns the hug back)

After a few more seconds Nate pulls away

Nate: so does cobe know

Ash: I don't know he moved and I don't care if he knows or not. I'm with you now

Nate: yeah you are huh?

Ash: I sure am

Nate: this Sumner is going to be awesome

Ash: it sure is

Nate kisses her on the cheek and pulls her into another hug

This has been a crazy jounery just to get to this moment but it was worth it. And to think he was my FORRBIDDEN CRUSH. 😉
