MinecraftUniverse's (Jason's) POV

I woke up breathing heavily. With each inward breath I calmed down. I sat up, making sure it was just a dream. 'No. Not a dream. Just a vision of the past. Something I already experienced.' I got out of bed, not bothering to be quiet. I had enchanted the room to be sound-proof, and I also enchanted the door and windows to not be see through. No one, not even Seto could sense the magic.

I changed into the clothes I wore under my spacesuit and quietly snuck out of the house. I was a wolf hybrid, so I could hunt for my own food. I spread my wings and took flight. I had my own hunting grounds, as I wasn't part of a pack. My hunting grounds are far out at sea, away from civilization. It was a small island, crescent-shaped, surrounded by giant sea spires.

I breathed in the cool, crisp morning air as I stretched my wings. A gentle smile found its way onto my face, followed quickly by the excitement of being able to escape my spacesuit, even if it was for a little while.

"Whoo-hoo!" I yelled, as I ducked downwards into a dive. I pulled up out of the dive before I hit the water. Adrenaline rushed through my veins. I sped up, the island appearing over the horizon as I did so. Already, I could smell the fresh prey that awaited on the island. I swooped upwards, landing on the highest mountain peak. I haven't eaten for about 2-3 weeks, but I can go longer without food or water. I changed into my wolf form, sprinting towards the roofed forest within the island's cove.

I made sure that nothing could sense my presence. Soon enough, I smelt a herd of oxen in a clearing up ahead. I slowly stalked through the bushes. They spotted me, only moving to protect their young. I circled around them, pretending to look for a weak spot, when in reality, I was trying to find the largest one. Soon enough, I saw it. I sprinted towards it, then jumped onto its back, surprising it. The rest of the herd ran, not bothering to help the young male I was attacking.

I finished it off with a sharp bite to the head. As soon as it dropped to the ground, I started to feast on the fresh flesh. In the middle of my feast, the scent of humans flooded my nose. They were probably in the rainforest. A small group, full of humans that lived in one of the cities that was under the protection of the Sky Army, a very familiar scent. I decided to investigate later, then continued my feasting.

By the time I finished, they were beginning to enter the savannah. I ran to where the forest met the savannah, then changed into my lion form. I learned that some of the powers I had gained from what I now call the incident, turned me into a shape-shifter. Anyway, I spotted them from a distance, watching them carefully. One of them saw me and notified the others of my appearance. Using my sensitive ears, I listened to what they were saying.

Apparently, I was the only carnivorous animal they had seen. This group was smaller than what I smelt, so I assumed that they had set up a camp somewhere. The 5-6 people in front of me were unarmed, one of them had a small knife, meant for carving, rather than hunting. One was writing in a leather-covered journal. As they continued to gawk as my appearance, I decided to stalk away. I could hear their disappointment, but none made a move to follow me.

I went to another part of the savannah, and took down a fourth of a zebra herd, as well as a third of an antelope herd. I changed back to normal, and used my claws to separate the meat, bones, and skins. I put everything into the black and blue backpack I usually carried. I put shouldered the backpack and took off towards the mainland. I usually sold the items I collected for a great amount of money. Since most biomes were hard to find, I usually brought in plenty of items from my island, which I called Ember Island, for the heat I had originally felt while flying near the island.

When I landed, it was in the forest, where I was close to the city, but not so close that I could be heard or seen. I pulled my hood up, and tucked my wings in close. I wrapped my tails around my legs, hidden beneath my pants. I put on a pair of black gloves with an electric blue trim. Then I put on some sunglasses, as to hide my glowing eyes from others.
