"I dare you to go outside in only your underwear!" Marcy giggled between her words.
After Marcy came over, we decided to invite some other friends over , and now Hayley, Gerty, Dani, and even Leslie were sitting on my floor in a big circle. I glanced over at the clock. It was 3:00 in the morning, and somehow, our night had become one big game of the ever famous Truth or Dare.
I sighed deeply and stood up. "Fine!" I giggled. I pulled off my plaid pj shorts and strut towards the door.
"No, no, no!" Leslie laughed and slapped my butt. "Marcy said ONLY your underwear. Your Tinker Bell shirt is NOT underwear!"
"Alright.." I said, pulling the old shirt over my head to reveal my turquoise sports bra. I marched out of my bedroom and into the living room, where the girls all gathered around the big window that looks out to the front yard of my house.
"Do I really have to do this?" I questioned the giggly girls.
" YES!" They all said in unison. I quickly turned the door knob and ran out the door. I stood on my porch and went to walk back inside, but Leslie beat me to the door.
"Go in front of the window so we can see you!" She cried. I shook my head at the girls and swiftly ran to window. I waved at them all then spun around a few times, and quickly strode back to the door. But, after several tugs and pulls, I concluded that these delusional girls had locked me out.
"Guys!" I shouted, storming back to the window. "Let me in!"
"No! Not until you show us what a lovely time your having!" Hayley cried, making everyone laugh. Except for me. I danced around the yard and jumped up and down waving my arms. Until something changed. I froze. I completely forgot about the motion sensor lights my parents just installed.......

I looked up at the window as the girls started clapping and laughing like complete fools. It might've been funny to them, but it was beyond embarrassing for me. I quickly dashed to the back door, hoping it was unlocked.
It wasn't.
I swore under my breath, and wrapped my arms around myself. It was chilly, and only being in a bra and underwear wasn't helping. I decided to take the chances of going back around the front, hoping that maybe the sensor light had turned off.
It hadn't.
I quickly rushed over to the door, hoping none of my neighbors would notice me. What would they think about a 14 year old girl in just her undies trying to tear the door off of a house?
"GIRLS! LET ME IN!" I shouted! They all shook their heads and giggled.
Gerty cracked the window. "Beg for it!" she smirked.
"Guys, c'mo-"
"Winnie?" A third party-voice sounded from across the street. An unmistakable third-party voice.
Shit.
"Hey, Trevor!" I said, planting a fake smile on my face. I swiftly turned around and glanced up at his window, which his head was sticking out of. "What's new?"
"Uh, nothing much with me." He said, scratching his head. "Gimme a sec." He disappeared back into his room, closing his window.
I urgently looked at the girls, getting down on my knees and pleading them to let me in, but they refused, once again. Suddenly, I heard a door close behind me, and out stepped a shirtless Trevor.
"Oh, uh, your back!" I choked out. I crossed my arms over my chest.
"Yeah, so, I was wondering..." Trevor said, looking at the ground. My stomach did a backflip. What was he wondering?
"Yeah?" I asked, slightly blushing.
"Where are your clothes?" He asked, grinning. Back to reality. Forget my hopes of him ever asking me out.
"My...my clothes?" He nodded. "Oh, you know, truth or dare can get pretty serious...." I stammered.
"Apparently." He grinned like a goof. "So, did you forget about the key your parents keep under the mat?"
"Oh, right, thanks for that reminder!" I blushed bright red at my stupid mistake. Suddenly, the stupid lights turned back off, leaving Trevor and I in the dark.
"I should get going, don't want my parents to get freaked out." He laughed awkwardly, turning to walk away. Before he left he tossed a shirt. "Here- don't let them strip you of this one." he winked.
"Yeah, haha, thanks, I'll, um, see ya later!" I waved and stalked back to my front door. "See ya later? Really, Winnie?" I whispered to myself. I heard a chuckle from across the street as I unlocked the door, and soon I realized that I hadn't just whispered it to myself.
I shouted it to the whole neighborhood. Fantastic!
