As a queen I am forced to take precautions while making decisions. Today was one of those days. The king of Nature lost his daughter, and his wife was killed in the process. He blamed all the other creatures, including my race. Then we held a meeting. All of the kingdoms were there except for the Dark Fae, but no one talks to them.
"Darren, I know you are sad and angry because of what has occurred, but we all have decided that we don't want a war. We will have you select one person from each kingdom. That person will try and find your daughter in the human realm and other worlds of creatures."
" I choose you Iris to go to the fairy realm with my trusty knight Scott. Saunder, you will go with William to Hallows View. No one else from the other kingdoms are going anywhere else. I will give you assignments to complete around your kingdoms later tonight, and you will be attending a farewell dinner for Queen Iris, Princess Saunders, King William and my Knight Scott."
"King Darren, I need to speak with you, and I will not settle for later," I said.
" Yes Queen Iris what do you need?" Darren asked.
" How do you expect me to keep my people safe when i'm in the Human realm with your knight!" I said venomously.
" I will give you a crystal ball that my wife had when she was alive," he said.
"Really Darren? A crystal ball? Is it going to shine and- "
"This crystal ball can show you anywhere you want it to," he interrupted. "I have one phone for you that I had my tinkerers make. It was made for you and your kingdom's' duke to communicate with each other about your kingdom as you please."
"The Duke is an untrustworthy man and I will not let my kingdom be in his hands. If I shall go then you will contact me and help me with my kingdom needs."
"As you wish Iris, but you must do your job in the human realm," he said.
"I will Darren," I promised. I turned to Scott,"If you will stay at my kingdom tonight it would be easier for both you and me to travel the next day."
"Yes Queen," he responded.
"Scott . . . call me Iris," I exclaimed.
"As you wish, Iris"
We went to Darren's dinning room and sat at the large table fit for 100 people or so.
Darren stood up from where he sat and spoke, "Welcome everyone, thank you for coming here tonight. We shall say good luck to Queen Iris, Princess Saunder, King William and Sir Scott. " After his opening, we all ate and had a lovely evening filled with conversation.
"Scott if you will come with me," I said as I was ready to leave, "we planed for you to stay with me in my kingdom. Remember? "
"Coming Iris," he said cheerfully. Then we were off to my kingdom. Ready for our last night in our world.
