The next day when you walk into class he is there. Not Sumi, but the other boy. He had black hair with three white stripes on one side. Those two girls were by him again. You noticed the people he hangs around with. One is a white haired scythe and his meister. The other is a blue haired meister and his black haired weapon. From what you heard by Professor Stein, their names were Soul, Maka, Black☆Star, Tsubaki, Liz, Patty, and Death the Kid. Wait. Death the Kid? Does that mean that boy you saw is the shinigami's son?
You sat down in the row in front of them. You could feel someone's eyes stare into the back of your skull. You were afraid to turn around though, because you didn't want to make awkward contact with people...
"Y/n. What's the name of the animal I'm dissecting today?" You looked down and saw a large monkey in a cage. Crap, you haven't been listening...
"Uh..."
"Bertania." you heard a whisper.
"Um...B-bertania?" you said quietly. Professor Stein looked at you through his thick glasses.
"Correct." He states as he went on again about the ape. You turned around and saw Death the Kid staring straight at you, almost smiling. He nodded slightly and then turned back to listen to Stein.
