"Where am I? Why is it so dark?" Kaleb said as he wandered in across a void.
As he walked through the darkness, he heard a strange sound in the distance. It almost sounds like crying.
"Hello? Is anyone there?" He asked nervously.
He turned and saw what looked to be a woman on the ground cradling something. It seems as though she is wounded.
Kaleb ran towards her to see what had happened to her, but as he got closer she seemed to move farther away. Eventually she was out of sight. He stood in the darkness alone once again.
After what seemed like hours he saw a light in the distance.
He ran towards it.
As he got closer, the light split into four and an altar seemed to be in between them. The lights were braziers on huge columns of what seemed to be a combination of granite and marble.
The altar itself had four layers.
Kaleb walked towards it and felt something pulling at his very being. He climbed the steps until he reached the top. There he found what seemed to be a gate with a magical seal keeping it shut. In front of it there was a sword and a book on a pedestal.
As he approached the items they faded away. A booming voice spoke from every direction. "The time is almost upon us. You must be prepared to follow your destiny."
"Who are you? What destiny are you talking about?" Kaleb asked frantically.
The voice responded with one word.
"Awaken"
