Chapter 4

Aaron's Pov
The full moons tonight! My family usually spends it with others in the forest, but I have no one, so I have to stay home. Unless I celebrate alone. "I guess I can spend it at home, this time or I could celebrate alone, again." I said sadly. I decided to run a few errands. "First, I'll pay a few bills, then I'll go look around town, then I'll get groceries for dinner." I said making a list of stuff I need. You're probably wondering where I get my money for stuff. I actually work and I changed the address for my adoption money to my new address, also some of my friends I met on my way to Griffon Rock send me a few hundred dollars to my new home. So I usually go help some people by help cleaning and stuff. After paying a few bills, I go exploring, but the minute I stepped out of my house I felt like I was being watched. I started walking down the street. When I got a few blocks away from my house I started singing a song my mother sang to me and my siblings when we were little.
"Come little children, I'll take thee away
Into a land of enchantment

Here in my Garden of Shadows...
Follow sweet children, I'll show thee the way
Through all the pain and the sorrows

When I finished singing, everyone's eyes were on me. I blushed from under my hood and kept going. I finally get to the store, and go in to buy food for my celebration. When I exit the store, it was almost sunset. I have to hurry! I hurried home until I was passing the firehouse. I looked at the firehouse and kept moving. When I get home, I hurriedly make a picnic. I look out the window and the sun was setting. I ran out the door and into the forest, trying to find an open spot to have my picnic. Finally I find it, it was an open area next to a river, it had many flowers next to the river. I set everything up and watch the sun go down. I was about to start eating my picnic when I hear something moving. I look up to see darkness. Then a gunshot rung out and an unbearable pain came through my side. It's not bronze or copper because they don't sting or burn me. So that means it's....Silver! I look up to see a man in a safari outfit, running into the forest. I have to find help. I got up and shakily stumbled into the forest. It would take to long to get to the firehouse or home. The closest place I can think of is....Frankie's home. I transform and shakily run up to the building on the cliff. When I get there, I scratched at the door and collapsed. The door opened revealing a man in a lab coat. He stares at me in shock and immediately picks me up. He brings me inside, there was a lot of inventions and gadgets. He sets me on a table and calls someone that I'm guessing it Chief or someone who can help me. After a bit in runs Frankie. She comes up to me and slowly pets my head. "It's okay big fella. Everything will be fine." She cooed. She held my head as I feel the man working on my wound. When he finishes, Frankie goes and gets me some water, but I refused to drink. She keeps trying to get me to drink, but I kept refusing. I slowly push myself up into a sitting position. Then I slowly start to stand. 'Doesn't hurt to bad.' I thought jumping down from the table, when pain went through my side. 'Spoke to soon.' I thought obviously annoyed. I walk over and sat by the door. I slowly lay down and fell asleep.
Frankie's Pov
It's the same wolf from before maybe we can use a real wolf for the project other then a picture. I walk back over to the table and found the wolf was gone. "Daddy, where did the wolf go?" I asked, looking around. "I don't know, Chief is coming over to get him." He said, looking around. I walked over to the door and found the wolf by the door. He's asleep, but perked up and looked at the door. I listened closely and heard a door close. It must be Chief. I notice the wolf moved and come over to me. He sits in front of me, close enough for me to examine him. He had a Snow White pelt, but a little is stained with blood. And he had different eye colors. One shining blue and the other scarlet red. I snap out of my trance when someone knocked on the door. I walked to the door and opened it revealing Chief burns and Cody. "Hey Frankie." Cody said, looking at me. "Hey Cody." I said. "Frankie, Your father said there was a wolf over here, where is it?" Chief asked. Before I reply, there was a Yelp. I look down and saw the wolf. "Hey boy, come on let's go." Chief said, surprisingly the wolf followed. "Hey Cody, maybe we can the wolf in for a real display for our project." "I don't know Frankie. This is a special animal, especially on Griffon Rock." He said, watching the wolf get in Chase. "I better get going. See ya soon Frankie." Cody says walking back to Chase. "Yeah see ya Cody." I said walking into the lab.
Aaron's Pov
"What happened to you Aaron?" Cody said, as I shift back to my human form. "I was in the woods celebrating the full moon, when someone shot me with a silver bullet." I said buckling my seatbelt. "Aren't werewolves allergic to silver?" Cody asked. "Yes, silver makes us werewolves very weak. And if in our system for to long, it can kill us." I said leaning back in my seat. "Why didn't you come to the fire house?" He asked. "It was to far for me to make it. I'm lucky enough I got to Frankie's in time." I said looking out the window. "The good thing is that your okay." Chief said, while I slowly slip into a deep sleep.
