It was the most exciting day of the week. I was very excited. I nearly fell off my chair. Do you know why? It was a Friday! However, two students disappeared. Pamela and Rina.
Rumor says that Pamela was sent to the Indoor Sports Hall by the gym teacher to get some equipment. Rina accompanied Pamela there. But they never came out.
How? I asked my form teacher, Mr Brown, why weren't they in school.
And do you know what he said? "I don't know. Let's go on with the lesson,"
           Really? Doesn't he care?
Anyways, after the disappearance, I always see Pamela's and Rina's parents crying at the main gate. Mr Brown would stand with them. He would remain silent though. The principal would comfort them. My heart aches at the sight of it.
"Tina?" The sudden call of my name broke my train of thoughts. I turned around. It was my best friend, Meggie. I smiled at her and we began to chat. Just then, my other best friend, Rosemary, waved at us. We waved back. She joined our chat. We were talking happily until the annoying school bell rang. We scurried back to our seats and sang the national anthem. After singing, we sat down and got ready for our first lesson~Math.
When the class was learning how to do an algebra question, my deskmate, Finn, came to class. Mr Brown glared at him and demanded an explanation for being late. Finn said that it was raining and he fell. He even had a scar to prove it. Mr Brown rolled his eyes and pointed to the sky. It was a bright and sunny day. "Oh, it's just a joke, just a joke," Finn mumbled as he shuffled back to his seat. Mr Brown sighed and gave Finn a chance.
"If hundred minus fifty is x, what is x?" Mr Brown asked the class. Many hands shot up, including mine. Mr Brown chose the smart girl called Elizabeth. She gave the correct answer~fifty.
"Good, Elizabeth. Okay class, today's homework is to do Algebra worksheet five  and Targeting Mathematics worksheet six and seven," Mr Brown told us as he wrote the homework on the board. It was little for a Friday. We nodded our heads and received the homework from Mr Brown.
"Ring......" The school bell signaled the end of the lesson and the start of recess. That was when the most exciting things started to happen!
