Mulan and Robin stared ahead at Neal as he paced back and forth in front of them. He was beginning to make them nervous with his repetitive movement.

"How long do you think he'll keep this up?" Whispered Robin to Mulan.

"No clue, but I don't have all day to stand here and watch him." Mulan muttered in response.

Neal stopped and turned to face them.

"Do either of you know any other magical people around here?" Neal asked. He knew it was a long shot, but spells weren't his thing. He would need the help of a professional if he was going to get home.

"Well...no. They're all pretty much gone now." Robin answered.

"Impossible. My father has to have another student here somewhere." Neal shook his head.

He knew that Regina couldn't have been his only pupil.

"There is nothing here that can help you?" Mulan asked. As frustrated as she was, she still pitied the guy. He was stuck here with no way to get home and that had to feel awful.

"No," Neal said with a look of defeat. There was nothing useful left here.

"I can't be stuck here. Not again, I just can't be." He mumbled to himself.

"Maybe I can ask around, yeah?" Robin suggested. "No promises, but I'll get back to you in a couple of hours. Where can I find you?"

"Here I guess. It's not like I have anywhere else to go." Neal answered.

"Alright, see you then," Robin bid them a goodbye.

Mulan took a seat on one of the chairs nearby.

"You're staying?" Neal asked.

"Aurora and Phillip wouldn't like it if I left you alone." She simply said.

The truth was, she didn't want to constantly see them together. After almost professing her love for Aurora and then finding out they were with child, she'd been crushed. She thought Phillip was out of the picture. She thought that they had bonded over their shared time together, but when he came back everything had changed.

She was left on the outside. She secretly hoped to find some way to leave without hurting them. But she had to take care of her own heart as well. Being here with Neal wasn't ideal, but it was an escape. One she desperately needed.

"Thank you," He told her softly.

She nodded her head and gave him a small smile.

"So tell me, how did you and Emma meet?" She asked hoping the conversation would pass the time.

Neal chuckled before taking a seat across from her.

"Well..." He began.

"I was folded up in the backseat of a yellow bug. It's a car, sorta like a horse and carriage except without the horse. Anyways it was a tight space, but it was my home at the time—

"You lived in a carriage?" Mulan gasped.

"No, it was a car. Anyways I didn't have anywhere else to go. I was sleep trying to get in another hour or so before the city started to rise. All of a sudden, I hear a noise coming from the door and then the lock popped. So I froze, thinking who the hell just broke into my car? Turns out it was this blonde with hipster glasses and bright red lipstick; it was Emma. Before I could react, the alarm went off. She panicked and was trying to start the car. I jumped up and tossed her the keys. The initial shock didn't last too long because a cop was approaching us. I told her to play it cool as I slide into the passenger seat. She nodded and put the keys in, which killed the alarm. The cop tapped on the window and she rolled it down. Before he could ask, I put my arm around her and told him that I was teaching my girlfriend how to drive. She freaked out when the alarm went off, but everything was fine. He brought the story and walked off."
