Lydia.

sigh.
I just pulled into the beacon hills high school parking lot. there are already so many memories flooding back into my mind. people are walking into the school. even more memories are coming back. most of the memories in this school are with Stiles. I don't know if it's a good idea to go inside.

I go inside anyways.
I see couples together. there are even kids with them. most of the faces of the couples, I recognize. I want to have a family so badly. but it's not working out so much for me. sometimes I feel like I'll never find the one.

as I said in my mind, the one, I met eyes with Stiles Stilinski in the corner of the room, by himself. he noticed me and his eyes grew big. I ran over to him in excitement and he ran towards me also. when we reached each other, I noticed everyone was staring at us, smiling. and then I saw the banner on the wall

I didn't think anything of it and then I locked eyes with Stiles.

Stiles,"here alone huh? don't worry, I'm alone too. Scotts not here, at least yet."
Lydia,"it's nice to see you too, Stilinski."
Stiles,"sorry. hey Martini."
Lydia laughed,"Martini?"
Stiles,"Martin, Martini."
Lydia,"very funny, Stiles."
Stiles,"I thought I was going to be alone all night."
Lydia said sarcastically,"who said I was going to stay with you?"
Stiles,"my common sense."
Lydia smiled,"your common sense is correct."
Stiles,"I was hoping it was."
Lydia,"you always knew what to say."
Stiles,"knew?"
Lydia,"I haven't seen you in five years."
Stiles,"right. sorry Lyds. you know, for leaving you and... I regret it so much."
Lydia,"it's fine, honestly. im way past that now. please forget that. that's not us now."
Stiles,"us now? we're strangers now."
Lydia,"I don't know about that. it seems you haven't changed a bit."
Stiles,"wow. I thought I changed a lot."
Lydia,"shut up! this is my jam!"

Lydia walked away from Stiles and started to dance.
Lydia,"don't be a wuss! get out here!"
Stiles motioned and smiled,"no."
Lydia ran over to him and grabbed his hand, and then pulled him out onto the dance floor.

Stiles,"are you drunk, Lydia?"
Lydia,"I don't get drunk. I just like to dance."
Stiles smiled and started to dance with her.

Lydia started to notice people backing away from the dance floor and staring at the two of them. she got more confident. Lydia grabbed Stiles' hands and motioned then around. she said,"people are watching us. dance with me."
Stiles smiled and followed Lydia's footsteps.

after they danced an entire song, Stiles saw Scott talking to the dj. and then a slow song was played. it was Lydia's favorite back in senior year. it was known as the Stiles and Lydia song.

Lydia,"remember this, Stiles?"
Stiles,"I remember we danced to it."
Lydia,"do you remember the routine?"
Stiles,"do you?"
Lydia,"yep."
Stiles,"so do I."

Stiles grabbed Lydia's hands and brought her close.
