Katie's POV
I was in the hospital I was kinda nervous for my surgery. I was in the waiting room with my boyfriend Mario. "Babe you are gonna be alright." "I promise." He said holding my hand squeezing it tight. "Katie" the nurse says. We get up and go to the back. I change into my gown and lay in the bed. "Mario, I'm scared. What if I die!" "Listen to me Katie, you are going to be fine." Mario says. "Promise" I said. "Promise" he gave me a kiss as they wheeled me into the back.
Mario's POV
I must have fell asleep in the waiting room. It had been 4 hours, so I got up to go to the bathroom. When I came back the doctor was looking for me. " I am very sorry Mr.Selman but Katie didn't make it" the doctor said. I started crying "How could this happen" I said to myself. You can go in the back and see her now. When I got to her room I just saw her laying there with a whole bunch of IVs in her arm. I leaned over her and grabbed her hand and said I will always love you you're the love my life. Just as I gave her a kiss her eyes open.
