Hey BruhSquad I hope you're liking the book so far. I have a huge project I'm working on for the book that's why I don't post a lot.

*One week later*

*Zach and I were just hanging out and I get a text from Hope*

Hope: Chole I need you to get to the hospital now

Me: Is everything OK

Hope: I'll tell you when you get here

Zach we need to go to the hospital. I thinks something is wrong with Maddie. I said pulling Zach out the door.

Let's go I don't want to miss anything important. Zach said.

*Skip car ride*

Is Maddie okay please tell me she is okay!? I said panicking

Ms. James you need to sit down for a second please. Dr. Maggie said.

Okay now can you please tell me what's going on.

The text results came back and Maddie has lung cancer. There's not a cure for it we tried to find one but we couldn't I'm sorry.

No s-she can't have cancer she's too young. WHY DID THIS HAPPEN TO ME WHY!? I said balling in tears.

Chole I'm so sorry. Don't worry I'll be there for you, Maddie, and Hope. You guys are my family. Zach said.

Cam I go see her? Hope and I asked.

We walked in and Maddie was sleep. She looked tried it hurts to know that she has cancer

Hope why would this happen to her she was nothing but the most amazing child I've ever known I always saw her as my daughter hoping that one day I would have one just like her. This is too much to take in. I said crying.

This hurts me too but I'll always be there for you. Me and Zach will be there we love you more then anything. Well I love pizza more. Hope said trying to make me laugh.

I would love to stay but I need to go to work. Hope told me.

Okay I think I'm going to leave so I can get myself together. I said.

Zach I'm ready to go home now.

Okay you sure we can stay if you want. Zach said.

I'm going to make a sandwich you want one? Zach asked.

Yea I'm going to sit in the living room.

*2 minutes later*

Me: Hey can you be the bestest sister ever and go to the store for me

Me: Pringles, Pain pills, and 3 pregnancy test

Hope: okay I'm going to talk to you about that last one later 😑
