Jeremy's POV
Since Angela has been running errands, I went house shopping and found the perfect house. It was a few days before Christmas and I had just finished setting up the new home with her SVU team. "Alright guys," I smiled looking through every room. "It looks great."
"Yeah, five hours," Nick sighed. "It better look great."
"Let me go out on a limb here and say Angela doesn't know about this," Olivia looked at me.
"She knows about a new house," I nodded. "She doesn't know what it looks like." My phone vibrated and I looked at it. "It's Angela. I gotta go pick her up." I left the house and went to go pick her up. She got into the car. She had on the bracelet I had given her the day after we found out she was pregnant. "So, you ready?"
"Yeah," Angela smiled. I drove is to our new place. "Jeremy, what is that?"
"Our home," I nodded.
"That's not a house," Angela responded as she got out of the car. "That's a mansion." I walked over to her and put my arm around her. "How can we afford this?"
"We can," I smiled. "Because of all our savings from Kohl's."
"I know that's a lie," Angela looked at me.
"Well, my grandparents had decided to move to Saint Louis, so, I asked them if we can have their home to build a family in and they signed over the deed," I smiled. I looked at the house. "I know that you will love building our family in this home." We walked inside. "This is the visiting lobby and through there is the kitchen, there's the living room, and the stairs lead to the second floor."
"How many bedrooms?" Angela asked.
"Five rooms, six and a half baths," I nodded. "So, we would have one guest room left and and extra bathroom."
"I guess it's safe to say that Nick has moved in with us?" Angela asked.
"Yeah, because Olivia knows Four isn't going to be in jail for much longer," I sighed. "That's why Nick is going to be staying with us. Also, the security system is the bomb." She looked at me. "Look." I pulled her to the panic room. "We're under surveillance so, if the house knows we're being broken into, we're under a complete lockdown. Meaning the house will put up the metal barriers that we have over ever window and door of the house." I looked at Angela. "I know, it's a little bit extreme."
"And I thought my parents were strict," Angela replied. "We just had a guard dog."
"Well, this will allow no one to break in," I smiled as I put my arm around her. "So, wanna know something?"
"Hm?" Angela looked at me.
"I hope we have another boy," I smiled as I wrapped my arms around her from behind.
"I want a girl," Angela smiled at me. "We have a boy already." I looked at her. "We never got to experiment with James as youngling. We're basically first time parents with a child on the way. We took a chance on James."
"Let's go and explore the rest of our home, shall we?" I asked. Angela nodded. I grabbed her hand and led her around the house. The last place we stopped was outside at the boat. "And this is where father and son can bond."
"On a yacht?" Angela asked.
"It's not a yacht," I nodded. "A yacht is bigger. This is just a medium size boat."
"I call it a yacht," Angela replied. "Jeremy, I understand you wanting the best for all of us, I really do." She grabbed my hands. "But you didn't have to go and get us a big house with a big boat and a double garage. I didn't want a mansion as long as I have you and my family." She looked confused. "Where is James?"
"With Nick," I replied.
"Okay," Angela nodded. "I don't care for all this. Jeremy, you're all I need. I don't care about the other stuff."
"You don't?" I asked.
"No," Angela nodded. "You're the one I'm with and will always be with. We have James and then another little boy or girl on the way." I looked at her. "We're building a family." She looked dead into my eyes. "Like our bracelets: His Always."
"Hers Forever," I finished as I kissed her.
