When I woke up the next day, the first thing I did was reach for my phone to see if Liz texted. Nothing. I texted her and waited for hours before I finally got a text back.
Liz: Erik? This is Liz's cousin. Liz had...
Erik: What?! Liz had what?!
Liz: Yeah. You deserve to know.
Erik: Oh god... She didn't...
Liz: We had just found her... She had scars and blade cuts...
Erik: Oh my god......
Only an hour had passed, and it seemed like forever. They had rushed her to the hospital, but she was bleeding bad. A few minutes ago I had received a call, and she would be fine, but they say that I was a bad influence and should stop seeing her. Of course I didn't listen. I was in love with her.
Half an hour later I was in the hospital sitting next to her, holding her hand. I asked her what happened and all she said was that she had enough.
"What do you mean?! 'You had enough'?! Enough of what?!" I paced around the room as if I was frightened, and I should be. "Listen, Liz, I love you so much. Please don't try this again. You mean so much to me. I would die for you."
"What are you saying?! You just met me two days ago!"
"I'm saying I'm in love with you. I want to spend the rest of my life with you."
