"My lady,I know twins are very rare but I assure you. There are two babies in there. I feel eight limbs. I understand if you want me to keep this private. What will you have me do lady Arica?"

"I am absolutely thrilled!"she replied.

She was so very excited and she couldn't wait to tell Zander. Twins, she never even considered the possibility. There hadn't been a set of twins in Rhule in over a thousand years. Then her joy began to recede and her smile slowly fell from her face.

Catching on Clare laid a delicate hand over her ladies swollen belly. Her hands began to glow as she sang a song of soothing comfort. As she drew the song to an end she had a soft appreciative smile on her face. Clare then took her hands into hers and sat on the chair beside her.

"They will not be like the others. The last  were born in the dead plains and were raised in darkness. It is believed that the next twins to be born of elven blood would be the key to saving all of Agramond. So I wouldn't fear they may lead normal lives or they may be the key to undoing all that has been done to this world." She soothed.

But lady Arica was afraid of what the people would think. They were to old of a people to take kindly to any kind of change. She was determined that she would keep the twins a secret until she saw how people would react. She would have to have patience for such a delicate matter to unfold without pitting her unborn children at risk of being outcast,or far worse.

"We will keep this a secret for now. I need to find a way to see how the people will react to twins."she said quietly while pondering a way to make this work.

Her messenger that had been waiting quietly for the word to send to sir Zander spoke ever so quietly.

"I may know a way my lady."

Arica was stunned by her words because the girl had never spoken before. She had thought her mute. After all the years she had just listened to her and all her problems she had never spoken what was on her mind, until now.

"Do you swear not to spill my secret to anyone no matter what?" She said.

" I swore that the day I became your messenger miss - my lady." She dipped her head turning a deep shade of rose.

" Well I suppose you did." She said chuckling. "So since you are the only one that knows what's going on and you think you can help me,please , tell me. How can you be of assistance?"

She was quiet for a while as she slowly bent her head down  and held her hands close to her belly and began to sing.
All three of them stood and listened in awe as they realised what she was suggesting. She was with child herself. Then she spoke.

" You could tell the people there is word of a messenger that is with child or maybe even two. I'm sure you would get the proper response from them by the way they treat me. Also, if they don't like it I can deal with them treating me differently for a while. After all, once I have her they will no longer care because she will only be one."

Clare was standing dumbfounded and looking at the girl like she was some new breed of animal she had never seen before.
When thankfully Arica snapped her from her reverie.

"What is wrong?"she asked with a determined look about her."It seems like a good idea to me why are you staring at her like that?"

"Well it was a good idea but you called your baby "she" and it hasn't left the womb. I don't quite know what to think of you is all. Would you mind explaining yourself?"

The messenger looked to lady Arica for assurance. The lady herself could practically  feel the young ones emotions. Excitement, fear, then uncertainty. Just when she thought the girl might flee she felt an overwhelming feeling of pure elation.
