There is very little about a Monday morning you can enjoy, appreciate or look forward to. It isn't like movies; there are no sound effects or filters, dramatic music or lighting. It is a harsh reality that hits you like a ten ton truck, all to the chorus of a song you once liked but now you can't wait to shut up or 'SNOOZE' it.
*CRACK* My face hitsl the floor with a loud crunch, sending shivers down my spine as I wincde from the impact. It was first day back from a very long summer, mostly spent in my room writing, and it was already looking dull.

"Morning!" Now my mum tried hard but sitting at the wooden table, I wasn't ready for conversation. So I grunted and attempted a smile, trying to ignore my brother who ran around the table shouting. "How you feeling about today? Excited?"
"No. I still see no point in sending me..." I cradled my aching head in the warmth of my hands, pushing through the stupid question. I allowed my blonde fringe to curtain the world around me as I took a spoonful of my cereal.
"Come now Jules, at least say you'll try. There are some new kids that moved here during the summer and I'm sure they'd appreciate a guide," She looked at me hopefully and I let my lips curl up. If she really wanted me to try then I would. Try, mind you.
"Okay. For you," I looked up at her smiling face, "I will do my best."
