*Bang* my locker door swung shut, the sound muffled by the music in my ears, and the people around me dispersed. I wasn't in a bad mood per say but with the nightmares, and these feelings I couldn't quite identify, my day seemed to be shaping up to one I would later want to forget. I turned to my schedule, eyeing the many bright blocks before lunch, my next lesson: Math. Well at least I have some people to talk to....
I gasped as two long arms lifted me off the ground and threw me over a strong shoulder. CC, it was CC. The others laughed as I thrashed half heartedly and giggled, Ashley attacking my pocket looking for my schedule, smiling triumphantly as he found it.
"Oo, you and Andy have Math together, Spanish, PE and English!" He smirked as Jinxx and CC grumbled about not being in the same year as us, making me smile internally. I never really hung out with guys, I usually didn't like them and they usually didn't like me, however I felt like I could spend the rest of the day just fooling around with them. Before my mind could wonder too far, however, Andy spoke up.
"Guy's," he laughed gently, "we gotta get going or we're gonna be late to home room"
"Okay, race ya!" CC took off running, me still on his back, while the others trailed off behind, laughs erupting from on looking guys and squeals of flirtatious girls carried us down the halls. I turned my head once or twice to see the boys chasing and for once in my life I did not care if we got in trouble, this was fun! Little did I know that feeling...
We finally arrived at home room, faces red from laughter and lunges strained from exercise, and almost everyone was staring as Andy and I said goodbye to the rest of the group and took our places at the back of the classroom. I almost felt the judgement as I turned to open my journal.
"So, are you like, in a gang or something?" Scout stood in front of Andy's desk, hair curled between her index and thumb, fake lashes almost blowing him backwards. He smiled, he had way more patients then I, and looked to me.
"Um, not quite," he winked at me and I smirked.
"So are they like you're brothers or something?" She asked, using anything to hold the conversation and his attention.
"Um, not quite," he said, crossing his arms. I laughed under my breath.
"Look, dude do you even know how to say anything else?" She raised an eyebrow as he battled away a smile.
"Um, not quite," this time we both cracked gripping our stomachs as she walked away in frustration. I looked at him and he looked at me and-
"Okay class, registration!"
He looked away.
