Ishould go to bed, I thought, it's late and I should go to bed. I turned to flip the switch on my wall, allowing the darkness to consume me, humming softly to myself.

What a sickening tune,

I sing to you,

Built promises,

You fell throw.

Lyrics flew through my mind, the strum of an imaginary guitar played gently in my ears and the lull of a band, made entirely of my own creation, rocked the notes of my favourite lullaby till I felt my lids shut. Drowsiness overtook me as my breath evened out, heart rate slowing, mind clearing and focus shifting but wait... a strange feeling, anxious and cold, grew in the pit of my stomach. Creatures, everywhere, whispering secrets and lies long supressed, fears long overcome and memories long forgotten. I gripped my sheet, letting out a vigorous scream that rocked my body but never once did a sound release. Cold sweat lay around me, pooling in my shirt, turning red hot on impact.

*BEEP*

I lie awake. A text, that sound mean I have one. I reach to my bedside table, turning on the lamp and reaching my phone. In front of my face the screen shines bright, displaying a notification. Yes, a text. It's a new number and for a moment fear sends shivers down my spine, but I know who has my number: the guys.

'?:   I know it's late but if you can chat it would be great to talk to someone ;)'

I smile, it was Andy, none of the others would of been so polite, however, I don't want to make assumptions so I quickly jab out:

'J:   Sure, but first, mystery man, identify your self :)'

It only takes him a second to reply, and I smirk at his eagerness.

'A:   Sorry, it's Andy, how come you're up so late?'

I debate whether to tell him but think better of it, he would worry about me.

'J:   Stayed up to watch a movie with my mum and you were the one who expected me to be up,  why         aren't you sleeping?'

'A:   I was to busy thinking about something... Oh shit, gotta go. Bye x'

I stare at my screen, he ended a message with 'x', what does that mean? My heart beat so hard I thought it might break my rib cage... Okay, Juliet...

'J:   Bye x'
