The flesh of clouds
Ate up our sunny day
As we rolled down
From the hilltop cemetery –
Earth was born here.
The world of butterflies
Fell way behind in the blur,
We paved a muddy road
Through the jolted sunshine.
Another song of breeze
Gave us paper-wings.
And we got high –
Up in the starry sky,
We had lost
Our fractured limbs.
