How It Used To Be

The cool breeze shot across the dark blue night sky. it was nice feeling the breeze on my face as I spread my arms and out imagining them as wings. I run towards a ledge tapping my bare feet on the grassy floor picking up speed giggling like the child I was.
but before I could jump my sister flew in front of me stopping me in my tracks.

"Stella!" She said in a frightened tone "Don't do that! I know your exited for your wings but you don't have them yet" I whine before she picks me up and hugs me. She smiles softly "I understand the feeling, when I was young I couldn't wait to get my wings!" She sets me on her lap and continues the story "Everyone around me had their wings and I was very jealous, I tried to build my own wings out of star bird feathers!" She laughs making me laugh with her "But of course, it didn't work and I fell into the moon pool. Good thing your sister was a great swimmer!" She would start to tickle me making me laugh loudly as she giggled "Hey..." A voice came from inside the house.

"Oh! Hello Silvia! Care to join us?" she smiles and nods running into Sonia's arms making her fall over and laugh, but they didn't notice that I made a shield in a shape of a star appear. That was the first time since ever discovered my power and the shield meant I was a Protecter. "Oh my God! That is amazing, Stella! I can't believe you found your path at such a young age!" She would stand up holding me in the sky throwing me up and catching me. "What happened, Sonia?" Silvia asked "your little sister found her path!" She blinked "b-but why?! I'm older then her and I still don't know my path! It's not fair!" she ran back into the house and slammed the door. "Hold on Stella I'll be right back!" She stands up and walks towards the house opening the door leaving me on my own.

After our parents died, Sonia was like a mother to us. But of course, it wasn't always the best thing in the world. There was always fights between her and Silvia about stupid things like how she never gets attention and how I always got the attention...if only I knew how she felt before all this happened...

~4:30, February 1 2030, Location: City Hall~

Silvia pounds her fists on the arm of her throne "What do you mean you couldn't find her?!" The city guard gulped "Sh-she was to fast for us.." she threw her drink at a painting and grabbed the guard by the collar of his shirt "Then get your shit together...AND FIND HER!" she threw him to the ground and glared at him as he quickly stood up and saluted "R-right away your majesty!" The guards walked out of the throne room bumping into each other on the way out "Ugh..when am I going to get actual reliable soldiers? These guards are a complete mess.." A whispering voice calls out "You just need to wait, the time will come soon when her soul is mine.." Shivers are sent down her spine "Do I really need to kill my own sister? She may be the weakest but...she's my sister I don't want to kill her..." The voice grows louder "People with souls like you remind me why I want to destroy the universe...I don't care if she's your sister, if you want the power your gonna have to follow my rules! Do you understand?" She closes her eyes tightly and opens them. "SHE IS MY SISTER! I WILL NEVER KILL HER!" The voice appears in front of her, it looks like the shape of a man but has a black mist surrounding it "Are you really going to be this difficult? I'm going to give you my power and this is how you treat me? You got some nerve treating an all-powerful God in such ways" she gulps and steps back "I-I'm sorry...but I can't kill my sister! There must be another way!" the voice smirks "There is one way..." She blinks "how? Tell me! Please!" It steps closer "You know how I said I was all powerful?" She nods, sweating nervously "Yes.." It holds out its hand as a dark purple mist comes out of it "I can give you that power, and you won't have to kill your sister" without thinking she excepts the powers "Yes, yes! I'll take it!" It smirks "Alright, just take my hand and let it flow through you."
