Awakened Power

Her eyes light up. she takes my hand and leads me into a back room. "What is this place? why can't i see anything?" Beatrice closes the door behind her and leads me further into the room. The room was dark like a fresh night sky with no stars visible. "You still have your Spirit Fox, right?" I blink, how does she now about Spirit? i never told her about it. "Umm..yes.." I hold out my hand and summon Spirit. it looks up at me, surprised. Beatrice claps her hands together. "Alright, now keep your hand held over it and concentrate on the Fox constellation, Vulpecula." Fox constellation..? what is this lady on about? i do as she says and i notice a dark blue faint light surround Spirit. its eyes would faintly glow blue as its body colour turns the colour of the night sky. "Your familiar has turned more powerful. this was something your mother did to us a lot." I look at Spirit. "You look so different..thats...so cool!" Spirit would look up at me and close its eyes as if it was smiling. "Thank you, Stella" I blink. "Wait..you can talk now?!" Beatrice walks over and kneels down in front of Spirit. "Actually, it always could but it never had the power to." I tilt my head. 

"Wait, how do you know so much about Spirit?" She looks up at me then smiles. "Because your Mother-" i cut her off with an aggressive shout "Stop talking about my mom alright?!" i turn around and walk towards the exit with Spirit behind me. "You guys know so much about my mother..." i open the door "...i'm sorry i can never be like her" I walk out the door and close it behind me. my back falls against the door as i slide to the floor and hold my knees to my chest. "What is wrong with me..? how could i say that..?" Tears start trailing down my cheeks. Spirit puts his front paws on my knees.i notice that he still looks like the constellation. "Stella, don't get yourself down like that. I understand why you feel that way.." His voice was deep and strong like a warrior ready for battle. Without holding back I pull him to me, hugging him. he hugs back, rubbing his head on my cheek. "Its ok...don't cry.." Even though he said that, i cry anyway. he chuckles a bit then steps off my knees. "If your not ready to go back in we can always go back to the town." I wipe my eyes and stand up "Ok, Lets head back." He smiles and walks ahead towards the exit of the library. When we get out i notice a faint trail on one side of the nebula trail. "Hmm..whats this?" 

I step on the trail and it lights up. The path lead to an old mansion. The mansion was made of stone and wood but it was broken and barricaded. "Woah..should we check it out?" Spirit looked a bit doubtful but shook it off. "Well, if you can show the path i think its meant for you." I look ahead and the mansion with the feeling of adventure. "Alright! lets go!"
