Anniversary

( A/N Since this is the 20th part it is Rarl's one month anniversary. Sorry that this is coming out really late tonight but I had to go to the doctor for a lot of reasons I will get into during my next authors note )

( Ron's Pov )
It was me and Carl's one month anniversary, yes I have been counting the days but he probably didn't even know but I couldn't blame him because we didn't have any calendars or things to keep up with dates. I was planning a big surprise for him though, I was going to make us a really nice dinner and try to look nice since Rick and the group were out attacking these people called the savior's. Carl was pretty worried about Rick so I figured why not do something special to ease his mind and show him how much I care. My plan was to tell him to go take a shower and put on some clothes and while he was doing that I was going to get dressed and go make something. I actually had no clue how to cook, I was thinking about asking Carol to whip something up but I actually wanted to do something productive whether it tasted gross or not. I think I'm going to make spaghetti because we have some noodles and I found this weird tomato paste to put in it. It was around four thirty in the afternoon so I was about to get up and start. I also made Carl this necklace out of random stuff I found around Alexandria. I know your probably asking yourself well when does he get the time to make a necklace without Carl seeing,  but I don't sleep much so I can always get up during the night to make it secretly.  But anyways my plan was about to start and I was so excited.
I had just asked Carl to go take a shower and put on some clothes, while he was beginning to do that I quickly through on the nicest thing I could find then went downstairs. I lit some candles and tried to make our dining table look nice. After setting up the room and trying to get a romantic feeling I went over to the stove and tried to figure out how to work it. It was not hard you just had to twist the nob and make sure a fire didn't start, cooking 101 am I right. I took the tall pot that Carol let me borrow and began to fill it with lukewarm warm water, then poured the long noodles in. Didn't say how long they needed to be on the stove so I figured I just cook them till they felt right, while they were cooking I was going to add some salt and pepper to the tomato paste just to give it a more rich flavor. Wow look at me top chef Ron. After about fifteen minutes the noodles look down and tasted done so I poured them in a strainer then into another smaller pot. After pouring in the sauce and storing it for a while it looked pretty appetizing and I'm not just saying that because I haven't ate anything all day. It also tasted pretty good so I put some into two separate bowls and took them to the dining room, placing them in front of the places I had set up for me and Carl. It felt like ages until I finally heard Carl coming down the stairs, he was probably trying to fix his hair. Not gonna lie he looked sexy as hell in that flannel, I could rip it off of him right now but that was for later. He had also found some cologne in the cupboard upstairs because he smelt so good, oh my shit. When he got down to the bottom of the stairs and saw what I had done the look on his face was priceless, he had covered his mouth with his hand but was grinning ear to ear.

"Happy one month anniversary babe" I said pulling him into a tight embrace.

"Oh my god Ron, your so sweet" he said hugging me back.

"Only for you babe" I said smirking.

"I love you" he said beaming, looking at the neatly setup table.

"I love you to, now let's eat" I said pulling out a chair for him.

I sat down across from him and waited for him to try the food hoping it tasted decent. He twirled some onto the fork and began eating, his eyes grew wide which kind of scared me.

"Oh my god Ron this is delicious" he said continuing to stuff his face.

"Thank you, I had Carol teach me some stuff" I said beginning to eat.

       We sat their eating, laughing, and talking for a while.  When my bowl was empty Carl invited me to sit next to him and share the rest of his.  We sat their eating for a while then we both took a bite and didn't realize the noodles were connected so we brought our lips together after slurping it up which was such a Lady And The Tramp movie moment.

"This is so cheesy" I said as I pulled away smiling.

"I know but it's adorable" he said smiling then cupping his hands around my face.

"Your adorable" I said looking into his eye.

"No you are" he said pecking the tip of my nose.

       He connected our lips together with his hands still cupped around my face.  We kissed like that for a few seconds just sitting in the dining chairs then we stood up,  he had me up against the wall in the dining room.  My eyes were on his hips while his were trailing up my shirt.  I could still smell that cologne on him from earlier which smelt great.  We moved to the kitchen, he had me up against the counter with his hands wrapped my waist.  After a while of making out like that I hopped on the counter and wrapped my legs around his waist.  He put his hands under me and lifted me off the counter.  This was getting extremely heated and I liked it.  Next thing I know I'm up against the wall and Carl is still making out with me roughly then we heard a small cough come from the door way.  Carl quickly let me down, his face just as red as the tomato paste I used earlier. It was Denise standing there with some bandages in her hand and some other medicine stuff.

"Carl, I just came to drop some more stuff off for your eye but I see now was not a good time" she stuttered out.

"No it's a fine time just uh leave those on the counter" he squeaked out.

"Ok boys I'm gonna go you have fun but not uh to much fun" she said then awkwardly walked out of the house.

     After we heard the front door shut we went and locked it.

"Let's just take this to my room,  then maybe we won't get interrupted" Carl said smirking.

      I loved him so much. With his dorky small and cute freckles,  he is so perfect and amazing.  I don't even know what I did to be so lucky to have him.  But he was mine forever and always.  I quickly followed him up the stairs anticipating what was to come.  When we got up there Carl said for me to go change into my pajamas so I did as he said.  When I got back he had hooked up a gaming station and handed me a controller.

"I knew how much you liked video games so I got Tara to try and find us some her last run" he said smiling and getting on to the bed.

"Oh my god Carl I love you so much" I said getting under the covers with him.

"I love you to" he said snuggling up to me and starting the game.

"Oh I almost forgot" I said jumping out of bed and running to the bathroom.

"I made you a necklace" I said coming back in the bedroom and handing it to him.

"Oh my god I love it Ron" he said putting it over his head then pulling me into a kiss.

       We played all night laughing at each other and making out every now and then.  It was a great night, best one month anniversary ever. I'm glad I cleared his mind of things.
