sometimes we all feel sad,
and that's perfectly okay.
because one ray of sunlight,
will always guide your way.
there is no need to fret,
when the world around you fades blue,
'cause as long as your light is filled with colour,
you can still erase this rue.
be the smile on her face,
as you wipe away her tears,
be her little ray of sunlight,
and she will always hold you dear.
assure him it gets better,
as you see him down the street.
offer him your sunlight,
so he won't fall captive to defeat.
you never know what happened,
why their light faded away.
don't judge, or hate, or assume,
because your light too will frey.
sharing all your sunlight,
can end someone's dark.
and it only makes your light stronger,
along with igniting someone's spark.
