A boy I went to school with,
He doesn't live at home anymore.
His sisters were moved to foster care,
His dad kicked him out the door. The boy has moved in with his aunt,
While his dad keeps tipping bottles.
He hasn't seen his sisters since,
The foster parents got them. The mother, she ain't around no more.
The spoon and the lighter fell.
Next to them, lay her corpse.
But the boy, well he won't tell.A friend of mine got drunk and pregnant.
Her parents were pretty mad.
She tried to go get an abortion,
But the protesters beat her up pretty bad.She ended up having the kid,
Guilty and sorry he was ever born.
They were forced to live in the streets,
And her family life was tornShe sat in the alleys crying and terrified.
Her son lay starving and dying.
No one dared to feed them or help them,
She was tired of even trying.Who knows how long they sat in the mud,
Giving up on the world all the rest.
I found out that she died last month.
Her parents said, "it was probably for the best."Where is the love in this world of hate?
Where Is the darkness in the light?
we need to work together to make the world Better.
Unite to make the wrongs right.
