Dedicated to: who am I kidding. You know who you are :)
I sat on a bench as I pondered a thought. Colors are all around us. Bananas are yellow. Pears are green. Grapes are purple. Oranges are, well, orange. Grass green, the sky blue, blood, red. All colors. But, what colour is love?
Love is red, a bright red. Red like the lipstick stains left on your face, quickly smudged with care.
Love is black, like your sorrow and emptiness when they are not by your side.
Love is blue, like your pain when you fight, or when something goes wrong.
Love is a blush pink, like your cheeks when they come close and tickle you in the places only they know will make you laugh.
Love is green, like the sickness you feel when you hurt them. But you know you can make it up somehow.
Love is silver, like the ways their eyes sparkle, even though you are too scared to point it out.
Love is yellow, like laughter and fun, as you enjoy each others company, just sitting there happily.
Love is rose, like their lips as they smile att every thing they do.
Love is white, like the gleam in your eye as you sit there, just admiring them. And knowing what they mean to you.
Love is blue, bright blue. Like a happy sky over your future, which you know you will spend happily together.
And I look over at them. And see their face. Their smile. their eyes. All the colours in front of you. every hue. And you know. Love is not a colour. Love is a rainbow, because love is all-inclusive. Love is everything, just like they are your everything. Love, is beautiful.
