I opened my eyes. I couldn't see that well at first, but then I did. I looked around. I'm in a hospital room. For how long have I been laying here? I can't remember anything. I felt weight on me. I looked down to see a girl with brown hair sleeping with her arms around me, our fingers intertwined. She must be Riley. The girl who's been talking to me for a while now.
"Riley?" My voice cracked since I haven't spoken for god knows how long.
She mumbled something and tighted her grip making me chuckle. She's so cute. Her eyes shot open and she sat up.
"JUSTIN?!" She yelled and attacked me with a huge hug.
I could feel her smile against my skin. Someone's happy to see me awake.
"Can't breathe." I whispered.
She pulled back and blushed.
"Sorry."
I smiled.
"Can I get some water please?" I asked.
"Sure." She poured some water in a glass and gave it to me.
"Don't drink it. Just make your lips wet."
I did as she told me. I looked at her. She's actually beautiful. Gorgeous even! Her eyes I just could stare in them for forever. And her smile I would never be able to get enough of it. I heard everything she told me. That she was forced to work here because of her attitude, but she actually likes it here. That this little girl named Jazzy calls her mommy which - I think - is cute. She couldn't shut up about her. That she skipped school so she could be here. That she pranked the teachers. I started to like her even though I couldn't see her. I could only hear her and from what I've heard I think she's funny, hilarious, sweet and amazing. Yeah, I like her. But she would never like a boy like me. I mean my own damn family doesn't want me. So why would she want me huh? But why didn't she give up on me? Why did she keep believing in me? Why did she care about me?
