Riley

I'm on my way to the hospital. I have a date with Justin. You have no idea how happy I am. I never thought he would actually ask me. I was surprised. I'm just so happy. I'm wearing this beautiful dress and my favorite boots by the way. I can't wait to see Justin.

"You're so beautiful." Justin whispered in my ear as he hugged me.

I blushed.

"You always are."

I smiled and pulled back from the hug.

"You look handsome yourself." I told him.

He smiled and intertwined our fingers.

"Where are we going?" I asked Justin as we left the hospital.

"You'll soon find out." He smirked.

"You know I hate surprises." I whined.

"I know. But you will love this one. Trust me."

I have no idea where we're going. Wait! I do know where we're going. We're gonna go bowling! I love bowling.

A smile appeard on my face as we walked in.

"Oh my god. Justin! How did you know I love bowling?" I asked as we changed shoes.

He smiled.

"I'm glad you like i-"

"Like it?! Love it!" I said, cutting him off.

He chuckles.

"Jazzy and I were walking around town and I remember you saying when I was in coma that you loved going bowling with your dad when you were little so."

I'm surprised, honestly. He still remembered.

We've been playing for an hour now and guess who's winning? Yep, that's right. I am. If this is a strike, I win. If it isn't Justin wins.

"Yaaay! I win!" I cheered, jumping around.

I felt like I was a 5 year old.

"Congrats babe." Justin said, hugging me.

Oh gosh. When he calls me babe or baby, I get butterflies.

We walked out of the building, but Justin was walking towards the wrong directions.

"Uhm Justin, the hospital is that way." I said as I pointed to the left.

"I know. But our date isn't over yet." He smirked.

We walked to the park and sat down on a bench. No one spoke. Just looking at the lake thinking.

"Riles, can I ask you something?" Justin said breaking the silence.

He was still looking at the lake.

"Yeah of course you can."

He sighed and looked at me.

"Why didn't you give up on me when everyone else did? Why do you care about me when no one else does? Why did you believe in me when no one else did?"

I sighed and looked into his beautiful eyes.

"Because everyone deserves to live no matter what. Everyone deserves someone who cares about them. Everyone deserves to be loved." I ended up speaking in a whisper.

We were looking at each other. Justin's eyes never leaving mine. He started to lean in and I noticed I did the same. I closed my eyes as our lips touched. His lips are so soft. Sparks. Butterflies. Everything you should feel in a kiss was there. I slowly opened my eyes when Justin lips left mine, only to be greeted with the most amazing smile on Justin's face. I couldn't help but smile too.
