Chapter Seventeen: Movie Night
"I hate this." Reed grumbles pulling his things out of his suitcase and neatly packing them into the drawer. "All I wanted was to be alone with you."
"But Reed we were alone for five hours in the car! Remember!" I smile, trying my best to cheer him up.
Ever since his dad explained how the hotel only had a certain amour of rooms open, Reed had been acting like a kid who didn't get his ice cream. It's both pathetic and adorable at the same time.
"I now, it's just I wanted you all to myself tonight." Reed finished unpacking and looks at me.
I blush slightly knowing what he wanted to do. The little perv.
"Well I guess waiting longer will just make it all the better in the end!" I wink.
"But I don't want to wait!"
Luckily Reed's dad had stepped out of the rather large hotel room to take a call. I'd feel rather uncomfortable talking about sex in front of him.
"Well he's not here right now, is he?" I say, surprising both of us.
"Caleb," he groans, "now is not the time to be sexy like that! He'll be back in any minute now!"
Knowing I could have a bit of fun with this, I take advantage of Reed's hastiness.
"Look I'm upset we have to share a room too. I was looking forward for what you had in store for me." I bite my lip softly and look into his eyes. "I guess I'll just have to wait until we get back."
Reed glares at me. "Now you're just messing with me. Stop."
I chuckle and go over to hug him. "Don't worry Reed, you know I'm not picky about where we do it." I whisper into his ear, hoping to remind him of the time we did it in a bathroom during a abstinence program.
"Shit, have I ever told you I love you?" Reed mutters into my hair. "Because I love you so much."
I can't keep the goofy grin off my fave as he pulls me closer to him. "But princess if you want to wait until we get back-"
"Hell no," I stop him. "Reed I think that you are forgetting that I'm the same age as you. I want it just as bad."
Seriously, who does he think he's talking to?
"Because I'm sexy?" He asks, running his hands down to my lower back.
I giggle softly and quickly peck his lips. "It's because you're damn sexy."
Later on that night Reed's family got together for a dinner. According to Reed each night on the first day they all get together for a movie night with pizzas. I haven't been around his family a lot but from what I've heard they seem to be the type that dresses up for even the smallest get together. That means I had to dress my best. Luckily I only packed my best clothes so I had plenty to pick from.
"Stop being so nervous." Reed softly elbows my side.
"I'm sorry, I just want them to like me!" I pull uncomfortably at the collar of my shirt. God this is so uncomfortable, how can someone stand wearing this all day?
"They'll love you. Might think you're a bit weird for wearing a button up to a movie night, but still love you."
I realize that Reed is wearing a big t-shirt and sweat pants. Why didn't I notice that earlier before we left the hotel room.
Now I'm going to look like a prick. Great.
"Reed! Why didn't you tell me?"
"Princess I told you it was a movie night! You're dressed for...well something fancy. You have a t-shirt under under that?" Reed asks.
"Yeah..."
"Then take the button up off and just wear it."
"Oh," I do as Reed suggested and unbutton the shirt, pulling it off once I'm finished. "Thanks."
"No problem Princess," I feel Reed's hand rest on the small of my back.
"This is it!" His dad stops at room number 213. "I think we're the last to show so you might be missing out on some pizza."
"Oh hell no." Reed pushes past his dad and begins banging on the door. "Open up I want pizza!"
I can't help but to softly laugh at the childish Reed. I feel like if he were to keep it up we'd get kicked out of the hotel for disrupting the peace.
Hopefully they'll answer the door. I don't want to get kicked out. I like it here.
Finally the door opens and Reed lets out a howl of excitement. "Aunt Christy!" He wraps the woman up into his arms, hugging her tight.
"Aw my little Reed, you've gotten so, you look exactly the same." The blonde smiles. "And who is this?"
"Aunt Christy, this is my boyfriend Caleb. The one I told you about." He gives her a strange look and her face instantly lights up.
"This is him?! Oh my gosh! He's everything you described and more!" 'Aunt Christy' rushes over and hugs me tight. Confused I hug back.
"It's so nice meeting you!" She exclaims. "Oh you'll fit right in! You'll be just like family!"
"Hey now, take it easy. He is my boyfriend after all." Reed says teasingly. The blonde lets go of me.
"I'm Aunt Christy by the way! Feel free to call me whatever though!"
"I'm Caleb," I smile softly, getting a bit nervous. I've always been shy so meeting all these people at once is going to be hard.
"Well come on in! We have pizza and breadsticks waiting for you guys. And for dessert my famous lemon cake!" Aunt Christy pulls me into the room. Reed follows behind me, chuckling softly.
Once again I'm sorry this is short...I'm just better at writing short chapters xc
